Considering a trip April 9-15 (Easter is the 16th) or July 23-30. I know Spring Break is really busy and so is July but at least the weather is cooler in April. Can anyone tell me what they think? Are the crowds comparable or are they a lot worse the week before Easter that it would be better to put up with the heat (we are from SC anyway so it is not a whole lot hotter to us)? Thanks.

I think it's going to be crowded during both times-- but the weather will definitely be more bearable in April. If it was my decision, I would go in April. You have plenty of time to plan so you cean deal with the crowds better. I've gone to WDW several times as a child during the summer months, and this year we went in early March. After that trip, I swore I would never go in the summer again!

Good luck and happy planning:-)

I have been over our Spring Break to WDW before and I have been over the 4th of July and I would pick Spring Break any time over July.. I can handle crowds, but the heat was horrible.. The heat on top of the crowds wasnt a pleasant experience..

Our school system only gets a long weekend for Easter in 2006. Our week long Spring Break is in late March. I imagine that is true for other systems as well so, early in the week you are planning to be there, I'll bet crowds will be lighter than the days just before Easter (not LIGHT, just LIGHTER!). We have been at that time and will probably try to avoid Easter in the future BUT we have also been in July, and NO WAY will I ever do that again!!! The heat and humidity were oppressive and the crowds were the worst I had ever seen in MK.

We have been in early March (spring break for us) and in the middle of July. We would go at either time again.

It seems strange, we are from a much cooler climate than the other posters, but the heat didn't bother us in July. Yes it was hot and humid but not unbearable.
