I have been off the forums for a while due to moving and other stuff, but....we just booked a nine-night trip to the Fort in April 2016! We had to cancel a trip over Labor Day (boo) but then we figured out that we could do a looong trip to make up for it!

Any tips or thoughts? We tent camp and have lots of gear, but will probably need to do laundry once (or twice). What's the current state of washer/dryer payment?

I KNOW it is forever away but of course I'm so excited. My daughter and I are going to hit the parks and my son and dh are going to rent a boat and fish. I'm also hoping to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour for the first time. WOO! Starting the countdown now....

Congrats on the upcoming trip. Looking forward to hearing about it.

As far as I know the washing and drying are now credit card friendly (if there is such a thing)

Let us know about this move, was it far?

Tell me about it with moving. But after a few months the house almost feels like its settled. We are booked for Feb 16 and August 16 which is big for us but so worth it in my opinion.

They are in the process I believe of converting the majority of them to a credit card based system. In loop 1600 when we were there in April they only had a couple of machines that were not on the new system. Basically there is a kiosk that you swipe your card on and then it tells you what washer/dryer to use. Worked pretty well though. If someone doesn't beat me to it I'll take pics for you when we're down in a few weeks.

PS...hope you enjoy your trip!

Awesome, good to know about the credit cards. That will make it easier. Hoping for the 1500 loop again as we LOVED it but just being at the Fort will be great with me!

We moved about half a mile, haha. We were still in our "starter" home that we bought after we got married, and then had two kids, two dogs, two cats, etc. We got asking price so moved to a place with a basement and a better floor plan for teenage kids, and are loving it. Less $$ for Disney for a couple years while we fix it up a bit, but oh well.
