Hi guys!

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to split the bill when 2 families are sharing a room? I know the room keys are numbered but is it possible to have 2 key cards on one credit card and 2 key cards on another? Or will we have to do that at the check in desk if we want to do it on 2 separate cards? Am I making any sense here at all?

you can use one credit card per room.

so what I would do - is allowed credit charges to two of your cards - not allowed it on the others. they would have to use their credit cards or cash. read this card it should say room only.....

or you can allow everyone to use your credit and then get them to pay you back when leaving.

As already noted, you can only have one credit card "of record" for the room.

You can choose to allow charging privilege on the room ID's related to that card or allow all room id's the privilege and settle up at check out. Since the id's are uniquely numbered, it easy to figure out which charges apply to which indoviduals - the from desk will even figure out the amounts for you. You can then apply the appropriate charges to any card(s) you'd like.

Just make sure you don't have the express checkout. We often go to the desk the evening before we leave and settle the room bill.

Enjoy!

Thank you very much for the replies. Doc, I was hoping for a way to allow both parties to use a credit card - thank you for the suggestion.:)
