Hello Universal experts, need help/info...
Staying on property this July 7-9 at Hard Rock Club Level,
Question on the charater breakfast that I saw on the web site.
Is it a buffett or table service, Where is it, How do you reserve it,
Who is there? Is it just spidey or are there other characters?
Of course I am use to the Disney CB's - But since I am not that knowlegeable with Universal I could use some help here. Our son LOVES spiderman, and how cool is this, (he had to sit through all those "princess" breakfasts) - now he will have a "manly" breakfast to go to LOL!!!!
Any info appreciated.

i agree that a "manly" (LOL) breakfast is a must-have! i certainly hope someone comes along w/some info 'cause i know my 8yo ds would LOVE breakfast w/spidey and some of his super hero friends!

Here a link to one thread about finding Spidey and the breakfast with some pics that some of us posted - the breakfast was buffet and good enough, but not quite up to what I'm used to at WDW (IMHO), but it was a lot of fun the day we went and the character interaction was great!

What a great thread bjakmom! I loved the pictures, you all got into the spirit! :charac4: :charac4: :charac4:
I'm taking my boys to this in August, we love Spidey! Ummm okay maybe thats :teeth: me....

Years ago they used to have a character meal at Confisco's not just the breakfast and they had many characters join in. They were all very attentive and lots of fun! I wonder if anyone that did the old one has also done the new one and can compare? :confused3

bjakmom thanks for the link the photos are GREAT!!! Our DS will freak when he meets spiderman. I forgot about the commercial with the superhero's on their four wheelers, Excellent. We will check the park info when we get there so we don't miss that. Again thanks to all who "put their 2 cents in" its priceless!!!!

I wanted to add that when we went to the breakfast, there was Spidey and Wolverine, Cat in the Hat and the Grinch. The character interaction here was GREAT!! MUCH better than at Disney. At Disney the characters would come, snap picture, ask where we were from, then leave. At this breakfast we actually had a conversation with the characters. Wolverine told us that the girls were at the age where their "superpowers" (or whatever he called them, mutant powers or something) would start to show. And he told us about how his superpowers began. And Spidey talked to us about his photography "hobby" and even took a picture with our camera of all of us with Wolverine. The Grinch played for probably 15 minutes with a little girl (toddler/preschooler). He was palying peek-a-boo behind the pole. He pretended he was "walking down stairs" behind the buffet table. The little girl was screaming with delight! It was so fun!

But I must say that the food was pretty lousy. It was more continental breakfast type. We had a later seating (maybe that's why the interaction was so great???) but the food seemed stale. I had a pastry and it was pretty dry and stale. I think I also had some fruit. But overall, this was worth the money. It was the only character thing we did at Universal and was glad to do it. Usually at Disney we go to around 3 character breakfasts per trip.
