Speculation... Prices dropping for Mexican Riviera?

Ah mannnnn, we can't use the ksf. Our kids spring break starts on the 27th and goes through the following Tues. I was so hoping to talk dh into another cruise before our July Dream cruise. :rolleyes1

Just put a hold on a cruise today for March 2011--kids cruise free to Mexico. It's almost $1500 cheaper than when I priced this a couple of months ago!

Thanks Disboards! I've got a cruise on hold for my kids March Break. Cat 9A for $2544. incl tax.

I just changed a cruise from the MR to the Dream for March a couple of weeks ago and for 1 adult and 2 kids in a 11 (not sure which one) it was $2100 with taxes, when I checked the prices with the kids sail free it was $1890 so not much of a savings, at least for the days I checked.

Hey mkmommy...since you're travelling one adult and 2 kids, one of the kids will still pay full fare even with the KSF Mexican Riviera offer as per the DCL site:

"Children 17 years of age and under traveling with 2 full-fare Guests in the same stateroom sail free"

Hope that helps!

I know but I think the price then was 699 for 2 and 1 at $499, now the 2 adults are at $849 and 1 kids free.

I just booked the Mexican Riveria Cruise with the kids sail free for our kids winter break. I had been looking at this for past month for inside stateroom as the price was attractive but had some reservations on jumping to book. I booked today a Cat 9 with kids sail free and still quite a bit cheaper than 4 of us in a Cat 10. I just need to pay the deposit in a few days.

Thanks for the postings here as I had been checking Disney cruise site every few days hoping a better deal might pop on this cruise and other day didn't see this new Kids Sail Free offer when I looked then and saw the postings here today so jumped right over to price it and then booked.

I know it's misleading, I just put two rooms on hold, the 11C categories are booking fast, so I got 11B and I think they were $839 per adult..we have 2 adults and 2 kids in one room (both kids were free) and then 1 adult and 2 kids in the second room, and somehow although it's the same category, the room was less, guessing it's b/c we pay less taxes with only 3 in the room? It showed one kid free...so why??

Taxes on room one with 4 people was $166 and the taxes on the same category with 3 people were only $125..hmm??
