I had 2 requests to remove people from the roster!

KimmyDisneynerd & DisneySweetie.

Have fun, where ever you may travel!
That is 4 in the last week.
Maybe the cruise wont be sold out!

Can anyone tell me when the final payment is due for the cruise? I haven't cruised in so long... I forget! :confused3

I don't want to miss it.

I'm sorry, but I have to share some sad news. A cruiser with us who has always been a lurker has cruised with me a couple times. She and her daughter went on her first Disney Cruise in September, 2006 and we met them when they were celebrating their birthdays (this was on the 7 night before the 11 night). They were great people, we spent the day in Key West with them, first at brunch in Palo and then doing the Duval Street Crawl.

Pat signed up for this cruise early on and has been emailing me about things that you guys talk about, most recently she sent me an email with pictures of two beagles from Wisconsin with Badger Football jerseys on. This was Tuesday at lunch time. She said she couldn't wait to see us in September.

Since our first cruise she started working for Disney Cruise Lines and through some other friends there, they got word to me that Pat passed away recently. I know you all would have liked Pat. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her a lot.

Tracy did she work at the Cruise Terminal????

I check on DCL website, it said 75 or 90 days prior to sailing. Depending on catagory:
Can I reserve a cruise with just a deposit?

Yes. You may put a deposit on any cruise. The size of the deposit is determined by the cost of the cruise. Your full and final payment for Stateroom Categories 1-3 must be made 90 days prior to departure. Your full and final payment for Stateroom Categories 4-12 must be made 75 days prior to departure.

You cannot make advance arrangements, such as booking shore excursions, making Palo reservations or registering for children's activities, until you have paid in full.

Has anyone booked their airfare yet? If you don't mind sharing, what airline and how much per ticket?

It is looking pricey to me. Cheapest straight through from Denver is Frontier at $355.00 round trip.

I am kicking myself that I did not book the straight through Airtran tickets at $88.00 each way. They are now $285.00 with a layover (like a 9 hour flight time).

Southwest still hasn't posted their fares, I am hopeful....

Evening everyone

Quieter night last night

If it's any consolation our airfares would have cost the equivilent of about $5800.00 (£2900.00). Fortunately they didn't cost a thing as we had free tickets as we were bumped in Orlando last September - thank you Virgin Atlantic.

Just had a home shopping delivery so need to help unpack.

I love shopping from home. It is a bad addiction.

Maybe the $355.00 for Frontier isn't so bad...and they do have those nice little TVs.

:rotfl:

HEY DPD!

ARRGH!

.....Georgie, did you see Bob hanging upside down in Cabo, lol. If so, Bob and I met you that day, we were with them.

Hmmmm. Don't remember Georgie & Joe.:confused3
Do remember a couple from Dayton, Ohio and two women from Minnesota.
At least I think I remember.:lmao:
And I did not have to play pack mule at that stop.

Cabo was an interesting stop.:rolleyes1
It was a great way to end a wonderful cruise.

There were minor aftershocks around 4:00am this morning but they passed un-noticed.

David
David, I am sorry to hear about the earthquake. Hope all is well there now.

Gonna be cold here tomorrow, highs in the 40's.
Not really sorry for the 40's in florida.:lmao:
After all of the gloating from down that way?
O.K., maybe I feel a little sad for ya.:rotfl2:

Elaine's mom is very cool.

Yep. It was a pleasure to meet her on the PC cruise.
This time she can celebrate her birthday for real.
Just a few weeks late.

Margaret will always have a spot in my heart.
I really enjoy homemade treats. :goodvibes

Bummer I missed the replay, worked late last night, wrapped up at 11:00.
....

Man, you gotta cut back on dem hours.

This one I recorded on the computer. First time I have done that.
The file was only 1.6 gigabytes.:scared1:

Ah, the marvels of modern technology.
My first computer had 64k of onboard memory and a hard drive of 1 meg.
You know, back in the caveman days.:lmao:

I'll be glad when saturday gets here and my tickers reappear.

Sorry to hear that Tracy.

:rotfl:

This was a grocery shop - it included 4 boxes of teabags (special offer) - yippee!!

Virgin Atlantic has individual seatback TVs on all of their 747s. The flight is nearly 9 hours so we get to watch about three films coming o the USA. The highlight for me is the flight-map which constantly shows us our position.

My first computer in 1982 was a Sinclair Spectrum (I still have it) with 16K of memory. It also had rubber keys.

Now that's nostalgia
