Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We are going to the Taste of Rome (town where my mom lives). Should be interesting as they only have six restaurants (or bars that serve food :rotfl2: ) in this town :lmao: :lmao: Mom wants us to get her an Italian Beef sandwich or a meatball sub. Can you tell she's got her appetite back :woohoo:

Gonna be a cool weekend here, but that will be a relief after last weekend and next weekend (expecting 90s again).

Tracy

I miss Italian Beef, one must live in the Mid West for such a great Sandwich.

Cindy - I hope that Kevin is doing much better and that you all went home. How scary that must have been for you. Please keep us posted. :grouphug: from me and Christina! :laundy: too!

Had my own little disaster today. DD is with her Dad, so I thought I'd get the office cleaned out. I walked through the living room to the front door and thought the cat made a strange sound. I turned around and looked back and saw little drops of water all over. I coudln't figure out how they got there since I wasn't carrying a glass of water. Threw the garbage out and as I walked back in, I noticed a nice stream of water pouring out the front door from under the floor! Figured the A.C. has broke again - and was busily cursing the A.C. company. Sure enough - over 2 inches of standing water underneath the A.C. But then I realized the pan and pipes were dry, so the water couldn't come from the A.C. Uh-oh! Finally figured out that the toilet had overflowed (thankfully there wasn't anything other than a tissue in it) and the water kept running and running and running. Filled my shop vac THREE times with all of the water. Now it's just wait and see on whether the wood floor will survive. It sounds kind of squishy even with trying to suck up all the water, so I think it's doomed. No way to tell though until it's completely dry. The worst part though - I had SIX years worth of Christina "memories" that were in my closet. They are ALL wet. Hopefully I'll be able to salvage some of them.

What a day!

Sue

Thank you Sue! Thats so sweet of you to think of us. Give Christina hugs from Kevin and I.

We had a ceiling downstairs cave in from a clogged a/c pan. The day after we got back from WDW and 2 days before the surgery! On Kevins head! :scared1:
I hope you get all of your keepsakes dried out. Thats no fun!

Hi to all!!! My name is Tracy and my husband James and I will be cruising with you all next September to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We went to WDW for our honeymoon and had not been back until last month. We were there with our DS (21) and his girlfriend and DD (17 celebrating her high school graduation) and her boyfriend. The trip was great but really gave me "Disney fever." Although we have never cruised before, I got really excited when I started looking into Disney cruises and realized I could have the best of both worlds. We are scheduled to be in Stateroom 7004. The only problem I can see is that the cruise is over 13 months away. Seems like forever. I look forward to talking with you all and spending 5 great days together next year.

WELCOME Tracy and James. :wave2:

You'll love cruising on the Magic. And you'll like this group of people that your parents warned you about that have grown older, but not up. :rotfl2:
Make sure that you at least check Peter's post on page 3.
Then fit James for a grass skirt.

Again, WELCOME aboard.

Hi All.
Been a busy week. Not much time to board surf.:sad2:

Kevin, hang in there. Sounds like a rough time. We are all pulling for ya.
Hopefully, you'll be back to tailgating us guys in the little Hondas in no time.:lmao:

Scott, you gotta cut back on those hours man. THE REAL tour starts back up in one week. Chicago.

(WINO)Tracy, hang in there. You and your family are in our thoughts.:grouphug:

Hey Georgie and Joe, great news about the brother.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend.

Welcome Aboard Tracy and James, Glad to have ya with us.

Cyndi...good to hear Keving is doing a bit better. Hope he gets to go home soon.

Tracy...Taste of Rome sounds good, don't forget your mom's sandwich. Glad her appetite is back.

Sue..Hope the floor and all your special items dry out ok. Good luck.

Welcome aboard Tracy and James, happy to have ya!

Hope you all have had a nice weekend. Things quiet here.

Wow!!! As if you didn't have enough to worry about. I hope it isn't too much of a mess.

Ended up with about half a garbage can full of memories. Most of that was artwork Christina had done. A few things were completely unrecognizable - just a mushy mess. Maybe now I'll actually get these things organized into those scrapbooks I keep buying (and not filling)!

Is Kevin home now? Or are you still at the hospital?

Sue

She changed her mind. But we had fun. Found some cleaning services that we can bring in to help mom out. And the UW marching band was there :dance3: I love the UW marching band   But, as I said yesterday, there were only about 5 places represented for food :lmao: Kind of hard to have too much when there's only 3000 people in the area :lmao:

Yes, Kevin is up and around now. He is enjoying being home watching movies. The Dr told him to walk around as much as possible that that would help with the healing. My mom(a nurse) is coming over today to remove the pressure bandage. I'm not sure how well he will feel after that.
No fun about Christina's artwork. She'll just have to make you more :artist:

We love the UW marching band also. The hi-lite of every parade!

HI All,

We are also booked on this cruise. We are Tracy and Dave from PA with our 6 children. This will be our 1st cruise, but with the prices I got for being booked in the Deb and Steve group I thought this was a great time to take the plunge.

WE are DVC members, I guess with a family of 8 and an addiction to Disney, DVC was the only way to go for us.

WE are booked into a Cat 8 cabin #5510 and a Cat 11 cabin 5509.

I look foward to getting to know some of my fellow cruisers.

Oops, just remember, I'll be on the cruise portion of Mousefest, so technically, this will be my 2nd cruise.
