ONLY the bar stools at the Bar in the lounge have been walk up. The Lounge has always needed reservations and they are the hardest to get.

I think they still have a line in the morning for those doing walk up for Restaurant reservations to fill the space, but not Lounge. It matters because of which menu you have to use. Restaurant you have to use prix fix menu.

I eat in the Lounge almost every trip but usually can only get a reservation day 5 or more… restaurant is actually not that hard to get… it’s the Lounge that is difficult.
