Southwest RR cancelation policy?

We got the Southwest Chase Rapid Rewards credit card and have received our initial points. The cost of tickets for our trip (Sept) is now almost double what it was a couple of weeks ago. If I buy now (with points) and the fares drop back down again, Southwest will refund us the difference, right? There is no advantage to waiting and watching fares, right?

FWIK, flights booked with RR points will get points refunded to your account and will have no exp. date attached to them like if you would if you had used cash.
