We are going to WDW 10/22-10/28. SWA's schedule is only open through 10/27. I did not want to pass up the $59 fare to MCO, so I booked one way and figured when their schedule opened up past 10/27, I would book the return.

Does anyone know if I will have trouble printing boarding passes in advance, as I'm booking two one way fares?

When I mentioned what I was doing to the SWA rep, she told me when the schedule opened up for my return date, to call and see if they could add it to the same reservation I already had. Has anyone else done this?

There will be 10 of use (including 3 small children) and I just want to make sure the kids get to sit with their parents.

Print your boarding passes exactly 24 hours in advance to be sure you all get A seating. I have printed one way tickets many times with SW. Never a problem. Just get the rest of your flight as soon as SW releases your dates. Good luck!

Just wanted to add a bit more detail to the process. You'll only print your departure boarding passes 24-hours before you leave home. Then, 24-hours before your return flight you'll need to visit the front desk or guest services or concierge of your hotel (depending on where you stay) to ask to print the boarding passes for your return flight.

Those with young children will be allowed to pre-board.

Enjoy your flight from our lovely airport. :)

since Ding was released i ALWAYS book my flights as one way trips. that way if only one leg of my trip has an available ding, i can grab it :).

btw, only parents/siblings of the children under 5 can preboard. PVD is my airport and i've seen them boot grandparents etc. out of preboard. just an FYI!

Thanks for your responses. They make me feel better about the kids being able to sit with their parents. I have read other stories on DIS about kids being separated from the adults, and with SW not assigning seats, I was a little nervous.
