I saw Southwest's weekend sale today and noticed that Nashville to Orlando is $39 each way through December 18th. We live in Louisville but would gladly drive to Nashville to save the $. We are planning a trip in Feb, does anyone know if this is a regular offering? TIA

I have not traveled in February but $39 fares from Nashville to Orlando are listed several times throughout the year. There are several $54 fares, too. I've never really counted on it.

We just booked ours for the end of the month this morning. We were bound and determined to drive but that $39 fare showed up and I was booking 3 tickets before I knew it.

I know, that is just too good to pass up. We had talked DH doesn't want to waste 2.5 days driving. Fine by me, more time in WDW.

It's a good fare, but a quick search shows me that Louisville to MCo is $59!
How many tickets are you buying?
If 2, that's only a savings of $40 - probably not enough to pay for the gas, nevermind the lost time. Weigh the plusses and minuses! Maybe in Louisville, you have family that will help transport and you don't have to pay airport parking, of course, gas to go to Nashville, then there's also any possible lost time from work for the longer commute to the airport.

We usually travel as 3, (me, DH, and DD) and flights have to be $50/each or more cheaper for us to even consider a different airport - and we have 4 within 2.5 hours of us!
