Prayers for Jana. I am glad that they feel it is benign. It will be a rough time for her and all around her, but we can hope for a very good outcome and for her getting back to 'normal' as soon as possible. She will appreciate normal days more than ever when that time comes!

I am glad you got to do your fun scrapbooking weekend. Jill used to do that, but it's been a while. She did well when she just had Brooklynn, but since she has two little ones, a full-time job, and the extra activities, scrapbooking has become non-existent, I think. With another one coming, I think it will be a while until she gets into it again.

Your scrapbooking weekend sounds fun. I used to do that too but haven't gotten much done since DD was born. I really enjoyed it though, once upon a time.

Your trip is so close. I know you are bursting at the seams with excitement! I want to go with you soooooo bad! What do you think your husband and girls would think if you had a crazy internet friend tag along?

I have a few things to update today!

First - my friend Jana had her first surgery on Friday and it went as expected. They took out 1/2 the tumor and will do a second surgery to get out more. There is a part that is wrapped around the carotid artery and where the optic nerve connects so they will do radiation on that part. So far, so good. We shall continue praying and hoping for the best. Thanks for your prayers!

Second - we spent today shopping. Got the girls a few more tops for the trip and got Sarah a good rain jacket with lining. Paige could use shoes, but it's not super crucial. If we get them great, if not, we'll make do.

Third - know what else we're doing today?????

Can you believe it??? A week from RIGHT NOW, we will be at the airport waiting around for a 4:15 flight to Philadelphia - the first leg of our journey.

I hope to update FB occasionally when I have some wi-fi or am at my friend's in London - maybe here too. We shall see!

Jana is scheduled for her second surgery tomorrow. It will be another long day for her and her family. If it's not too much to ask, please continue to hold them up in your prayers. It seems to be working, but it is very draining for them. Thanks!
