Yeah - I was so happy for Jana - I selfishly wanted to see her before I left, but I have to say, it was so wonderful to see that she's so positive and she considers herself so fortunate and blessed. Believe me, I thought I was doing something good for her, but I think I was the beneficiary last night. Being around her is good for me!


It was just amazing! It's so hard to believe that she only found out about this tumor a few weeks ago. She is a very strong, faithful woman who deserves every blessing she gets! I'm one of her biggest fans if you can't tell! [/COLOR][/FONT]

I know exactly what you mean. My college roommate was diagnosed with lung cancer when she was 38 and being around her was inspirational for me. I was so humbled and in awe of her strength and fortitude. It is really admirable to see how some people thrive in the face of adversity.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'm leaving tomorrow!

Still packing - there's just so much I can't put away yet! Plus I have to find the right carry-on bag. I know - you're saying, "what are you doing on the DIS? Go pack!"
I have the morning - we're sending the kids to school (Sarah has testing) until around 1:30. Looks like the weather will be okay - the worst is up north of here, and we could have some icy mess, but it should be cleared from the roads/runways by afternoon!

Have a couple errands to do in the a.m. - run to the bank, take the dog to the Grandma/Grandpa Bed and Breakfast, clean out my purse and switch to my traveling bag.

I did remember to do my online check-in tonight and print our boarding passes.

But if I don't get a chance to get back here in the morning - I just wanted to say thanks for reading along and also for your prayers for my friend. Keep an eye on FB if you're my friend (if not, send me a request with your DIS name) I hope to post once in a while.
And stay tuned to this channel for my return and eventual TR link. It often takes me a while to get to coming up with a good title, but I will be sure to let you all know about it and post the link here!

Sheree, I am so happy for you that the weather seems to be cooperating. And I am glad that you can go into your trip with your mind at ease about Jana. I know that is such a relief to you.

I hope you have a very uneventful flight and a fabulous trip! I will be looking for those FB updates. Take LOTS of pictures for all of us travel lovers who aren't quite as adventurous as you just yet. Your pictures may be the closest I get to Europe for the next 10 years, so I want details lady, details!!

Hi everyone. Just checking in from lovely and sunny warm London! Yup, I said sunny! Paris was chilly but beautiful and Disneyland Paris was so awesome! We loved it! Some things are better than WDW some were not. We are back in London now until Thursday when we head home. I might update again before we leave but don't know. Hope you are all doing great and having a great spring break if it's your week!
