Sound help, please!!

Dan Murphy posted some wonderful picture threads with sound and I can't hear the music... What am I missing? Is there something I need to download to hear it?

You can always do a media player update at:

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

but it may be as simple as checking your volume controls to make sure they are all turned up a bit.

My volume is turned up, my mute is off and I use WinXP and it is telling me I have the latest updated media player...

Most of the time there is a seperate volume control for "synthesizer". Check that one too.

Does other stuff play audio ok?

Is it possible that something is already using that audio port and is hogging it up? (That last one is a guess)

I checked my volume controls, they are all up... I have not had any trouble with audio before that I am aware of... I have nothing else playing...
