Sony blu-ray player for $60 thru DMR

Does anyone know if this is a really good Blu-ray player? And it can play 3D blu-rays right?

I have enough codes to get it, but just wanted to know how good it really is.

It's not top of the line or anything, but it appears to be a solid performing machine based on the many reviews I have read.

I unlocked mine today and placed my order.

Anyone else had problems unlocking? I finally called today and they said it seemed to be a problem as I had bought all the movies required and entered codes within the time window. So they are researching it and trying to unlock my banner.

The 3D feature WILL NOT WORK if you dont have a 3D TV. Thats why Im not sure if this is really worth it for me. I dont own a 3D TV. It doesnt play any of the formats (AVI ...) that my other cheap brand blu ray player does.It also costs 75.00 for that wifi adapter thing, and, My cheap Blu Ray player has built in WIFI and It has Netflix and Pandora. If you are looking to buy a 3D Blu Ray player, then 75.00 is a deal at half off, but, Just to get a blu ray player, its really lacking features that you can buy on a cheaper player.

Yes there is. I paid 75.00 for mine last Black Friday and it has WIFI. Walmart had one this week for 60.00 with WIFI. Im just saying if you add on the WIFI feature, you are then paying retail price for this. AVI FYI Is a format that many people use to view Movies,Videos, From their computer, to disc, to TV. Most DVD players have this feature, and, ALOT of Blu Ray Players do. The next model up from this Player also does. There are a bunch of people who do Not understand you cant View 3D movies on this, unless u have a 3D TV. I didnt know at first, so, had to do some research. I thought that maybe you can view the 3D with those cheap glasses, or the Glasses from the Theater, but, you cant.

I like it! I'm not tech savy, it works and the picture is quality is wonderful. I think fir the price you can't go wrong.

I order mine on Monday and the next day I saw that it was sold out.
