I went to Disneyland YEARS ago. But, it was before I bore children. Son is almost 21, and is taking a trip to Anaheim for other reasons with 3 other friends, all 20-21. They have one day they can dedicate to Disney. Obviously, because they are young men, they have no interest in the "kids stuff". So, the question is: Can they do both Disneyland and California adventure in one long, no break day if they only are interested in the things that would interest 21 year old guys? And if not, which would be better for them to do? When I was there, California Adventure did not exist. Also, is there a one day ticket that would cover both parks? Thanks for any help you can give!

are they interested in
7 roller coasters
2 rides from hell - Tower of Terror - Unlocked Fariswheel that swings

Yes. The wilder the better! They have no interest in characters, Dumbo type rides, etc. If it is fast and scary, they want it.

I would say they should go for it. They could do DL first thing in the morning, then hop over to DCA for Screamin and Tower. If they aren't trying to see everything, they can hit the highlights of both parks. They are young and have no kids, I think they can do it. :thumbsup2

Oh, one more thing. They can get one day park hoppers online from Disneyland. You print out the e ticket and take it to the gate, not ticket booth, and they give you the regular ticket. Saves time because you don't have to wait at the ticket booth. If they only did one park, I think they would have to go to the ticket booth because I dont' think they sell those online from what I remember. I did this for my boys for one day in Jan. this year.

Of course they can do both! 1 day hoppers are $94 I believe. :)

You can get park passes dedicated to just one park, or you can get a "Park Hopper" Which gives you access to both parks on the same day. They will definitely want to do the hopper pass then. That way they can take in

DL:
Indiana Jones
Big Thunder
Space Mountain
Matterhorn
Slash Mountain
Pirates
Haunted Mansion

DCA
Soarin' over California
Tower of Terror
California Screamin
Grizzly River Run
