Alright as you can see i am verrry bored and it's time to share...

share something wierd we do not know about you.....



Here goes....

When i was younger, i used to live in an apartment for a couple years and below me lived an ELVIS impersonator! he dressed that way and talked that way even in the middle of the day! i had to have been no more than 6, but it sticks out in my mind to this day!!

PS i'm a HUGEEE ELVIS fan!

Ive been driving to every store (bestbuy, circuitcity, ebgames, toysrus, target, etc etc etc) for the past week, every single day to find a stinking Wii!!!!

I knew I needed help, when after my youngest began kindergarten...I'd walk him to school, come home, and watch Blue's Clue's - the original one, with Steve.

And I'd laugh, and really enjoy the show...

Then Oprah would come on, and if Oprah wasnt a good one, I'd go back to Nickelodean and watch Little Bear!

Ok, I know I am not one of the posters who is on the Community Board all the time posting, but I do read a lot of posts and will post if I have some helpful info. I guess my point is that there is probably a lot about me you don't know, but here is my strangest:

Water.

I can't get into a previously wet shower. I have to be the first in the shower. I really don't get it myself, because I turn the water on and let it run until it is hot, but I am so skeeved if the shower stall was wet before I got into it. I can't do it.

Also if there is water on the counter in the bathroom at work. That skeeves me and I can't wipe it up because I'm skeeved.

I can't stand when my bottles of soda/water sweat. I wrap a napkin or paper towel around them so I don't have to feel the water. I also have to have something under my drink so it doesn't puddle, that skeeves me!

Just for the record I do shower everyday and can wash my hands, I'm not a dirty person, it's just the above that get to me. Everyone who knows the way I am think that it strange. I guess I kind of do too, but it is one of my silly squirks that I live with.

Don't hate me because I am strange.

Me, too. People always seem to freak out when I do this. They are delicious--especially with a little bit of salt. DD loves 'em, too, but I've been feeding them to her raw since she was tiny.

When I was a kid, for some reason I still can't fathom, I used to have to see a speech therapist. I don't ever recall ever having any kind of speech impediment, whether a lisp, a stutter or anything else. I asked my folks and they said I had no speech issues and also don't know why I had to go. It was the school's decision, not theirs.

Speaking of speech, I also used to have a Dukes of Hazzard southern accent when I first went to college on Long Island. I made an effort to lose any trace and I guess I succeeded since now, folks say I sound like a newscaster with no accent whatsoever.

Finally, I hate wooden popsicle sticks. The very idea of them scraping my teeth make the little hairs on the back of my neck stick up. Hence, I refuse popsicles and fudgesicles. I love corndogs but have to pull them off the stick before I'll go near them. Yuck.

Ummm - I have obsessive compulsive disorder and pull my hair out when Im nervous/anxious. Just hair, by hair, I pluck.

I get the heebies from 'holes' - ESPECIALLY clusters of holes - your water issue, is my hole issue. They make me feel icky and practically sick.... and super anxious, which makes me (see pluck hair)

Mr. Rogers was a great man. More people should watch him, especially today.

I will fold the wrapper from a straw into a small square then twist it into a corkscrew shape. I do this every time. Even to other peoples wrappers.

My daughter got me hooked on "Avatar: the Last Airbender" and now I am buying the DVD's.

I am somewhat of a professional juggler.
Even though I've never performed professionaly, I can do many of the harder juggling feats:

Torches
Knives
Three different objects (bowling ball, egg, dime...)
six ball juggling with a friend
blindfolded (after lots and lots or practice)
continous behind the back
etc...

I used to eat Milk Bones. I was like 6 when I did this... old enough to know better. I liked the reddish colored ones the best!
