Something new -- multiple park, same day FPs

They wouldn't have to have park specific Minnie Vans, just pickup and drop off locations inside the parks.
They would still need some sort of way of making sure that guest is inside the park and then a specified pick up location and drop off as well as cast to escort guests on and off stage.

So this option isn’t for more than the 3 FPs though right? You still just get the 3, but they can be in multiple parks?

Yeah same original 3 just multiple parks
Ok thanks. I guess thinking of it that’s not such a great perk then for us. Even if you don’t need a FP for spaceship earth, for instance. I make my FPs for 3 then get 4th on & basically finish the park. We don’t wait for anything anymore. It’s the tiers that mess me up. In the discussion of paid Fps, that’s all I’d be willing to pay for is Fps that don’t have tiers.

I would think the pickup and drop off locations would be the same as where the express buses used to be. Since the Minnie Van drivers are Disney CMs, they could vouch for the fact that the guest never left their vehicle during the trip.

Yes but there was still a CM stationed at each pick up and drop off to walk the people back to the bus. They would have to do the same with this.

Not sure how, the stations are inside the security bubble, so why would you go through security a second time?

I’m sorry if I’m confusing you with another poster, but was it you that mentioned on another thread that you used the elevator when getting off at the Epcot monorail station and not the exit ramps? If so, that elevator does put you inside the security bubble. It’s the long ramps that dump you outside the bubble.

Again, sorry if I’m confusing you with someone else.

No the Epcot station is not inside the security bubble.

If you come from the TTC you have to go through security at Epcot.
I didn't, so confused.....although I was in an ECV and told them I needed to use the elevator because I wasn't comfortable with how steep the ramps are, did that make a difference?

No, that was me, the issue is those ramps are steep and scare me to death when coming down then in an ECV or wheelchair.

I’m assuming yes because otherwise you have to go through again.

Pixie dust.jpgMy oldest daughter received a PIN code this week for travel through 8/28/19. It listed if if a 5 day or longer park hopper ticket was added as a package, you get access to FP+ for planning multiple theme parks on the same day. The way its worded almost sounds as if fast passes can be booked at more than 1 park per day. I will see if I can get a pic to upload here.

I received the same PIN and offer yesterday - I was looking here to see if anyone knew more details, but that's what it sounded like to me too. maybe something they are testing out?

Maybe...that's what mine says too. It's for the same time period as at least one other discount offer, so maybe that is it? I don't think I've ever received a PIN code, so I don't know if they normally overlap other discount offers or not? Unfortunately, we're planning on going in September so it doesn't really help me unless we change dates! Which we may end up doing...when we planned it, SWGE was scheduled for the late fall opening, and now we'll be in the middle of the opening chaos, so a summer trip is a little tempting! I'm going to check the discount board to see if it's a new thing with PIN codes...

This is actually a pretty neat idea and something I would like to see how it plays out. I have never really understood why the could not group everything into tiers and let you move from park to park, if you wish.
