Okay you lovely people...I MUST go to the bank and the pick up some stuff at the store....stopping by work to tan too(going to try to get a session of Hydration Station in....gotta see for myself how this thing works...if they want me 'sell' it
)
catch you laters.......
Let me know what you think of the thing. It looks great!
Oh...I forgot to quote this.....
I don't mind hurricanes. I plan to live more "inland" so as to not be 'as' bad. Here's my thinking..... I would gladly trade 6+ months of cold/can't go outside for 10 months of yes I can go outside and risk a hurricane or two... You can prepare for a hurricane and usually after it's gone, it's still warm out...granted there is no ac, but I'll take the trade!

No, no, no- himacanes, not hurricanes.
But I don't come from 6+ months of cold. I have already used the AC in the car. I don't do well without AC. I don't know if I want to live day trip distance away. Seems like it would kinda ruin it for me. I would like to live an easy days drive away though so it would be easier to go more often.
I called the employment line and basically got an eff U. The operator said (rudely) that I would "be contacted only if there is any interest." The way she spoke = unpleasant.

Hi. Just popping on to say hello, I'm alive, and thanks for your emails and PMs to find out why I was missing!.
Truth be told, Mike and I are dealing with some major crud pie at work, and I just haven't felt like posting here cuz my mood has been really sour, and I didn't want to spoil anything or bring down the thread.
I thought about posting several times, but I'd type it up, and then think, "Who in the sweet hell wants to hear this?!" Or, I'd think, "Do I really want this up for all to see on what my mother calls the Inter-web?"![]()
So, hi, I'm here. I'm alive. I've done some half-butt reading .. but you know how I am with that. I believe I gave myself an infinite supply of free passes though, right?
You are welcome to post your good and your bad here but I understand not wanting it posted for the world to see. Just know I am thinking about you.

My head it fuzzy, but I'll try. One of the reasons Dale Jr tried to re-negotiate his contract at the beginning of last season was so that he could have more ownership of his car... and would, therefore, have more control over what went into and was done to his car. He said (very politely) that he didn't feel that his team could be competitive with the current setup. There were several races last year where Dale Jr was in the top 10, only to have engine trouble knock him out.
Mark Martin was contracted with Ginn Racing. I want to say he is in the second year of a three year deal. Ginn Racing sold out to DEI (including Mark's contract). Mark didn't choose to drive for the witch... he got sold to the witch.
Oh yeah. Makes more sense then him going voluntarily.
Hey Jodie!
And, HELLLOOOO? Since when is this not the dumping ground for all the crud in our life?
That's what friends are for. Even friends in a box.
We're back from the doctor's office. Dr Broomstick was in rare form. He actually smiled at the boys and made some jokes. Not good jokes, mind you, but he tried. Daniel has an ear infection and Joshua has a sinus infection. They'll be on antibiotics for a few days.
I've rescheduled Joshua's MRI to next Tuesday. I called and told them what the doctor said, and they felt it was best to postpone the test for a few days.
I'm going to go rest again.
Hopefully the antibiotics will do the job. Glad you didn't have any problems rescheduling the MRI. Now go back to bed.

Okay, it's really boring here at work, so some basement pics. This was our effort to make the basement a bit liveable so DS15 could actually have his friends over and have somewhere to hang out.
Looks great Marcie.
No kidding! I'm quickly discovering that I need to check in 4 or 5 times a day to stay caught up.![]()
Oh yeah. If I don't check in several times a day it takes me forever to ketchup!
Florida gets my vote too! Then again, I live here & don't want to move.
Does my vote still count?
Of course your vote counts.
Poor baby.I didn't realize a bursted eardrum would heal naturally. That's good news! I'm glad she's feeling better now.
That's what the doctor said. She does have an antibiotic ear drop for it. I guess as long as it doesn't keep recurring then it heals.

Pat O's patio would be a nice place for a meet, if you don't go during the hottest part of the day.

BTW, where do you all get the great smilies?[/COLOR]
A lot of them come from smiley central.
