Ummmm, no! But remember I am in the South. It isn't bad out. Think it is supposed to be in the 60's again today. If it is really bad out then they do practice in the barn, but it has to be real bad.

I'll help you out with this...dh burns his bacon and I mean burns it! I complained about the smell in the house last weekend, it lasted all day. So today he cooked it on the gas grill outside, opened the door and in came the smell. Now the house smells again. It is so burnt I don't know how he can stand to eat it. And that smell is disgusting. Makes me never want to eat bacon. So can you imagine that smell? There is even smoke in the house from it and it was cooked outside!

Hi all
I feel alot better today I guess I got my rest last night,too, as I was really dragging yest.
We will be going to the school Variety show later on this afternoon. I think this variety show stint lasts about 3hrs It lasted that long when we had it 2 yrs ago. I am going b/c Matthew will be in it, or else I probably wouldn't care less about it. Most of the acts are girls dancing and lip sincing to Hannah Montana songs or HSM songs basically.

Penny and all you east-coasters- I guess groundhog is telling us 6 more weeks of winter?? Doesn't surprise me. I get confused when he sees his shadow or not see his shadow,which one is it that tells us spring is coming soon? I just know I LOVE the Groundhog Day movie with Bill Murray in it

Hope today is better for you. Thanks for the Auntie Anne's pretzel alert DH and Chrissy are at the mall right now, as DH had to bring his car in to get fixed(brakes looked at). Sears automotive is very close to the mall. So I told DH to stop there for a free pretzel for him and Chrissy.

I guess Michael Jordan is back in the news- some ex-girlfriend I suppose? Harrassing him that he is the baby's daddy- this is a different woman than the other woman he had an affair with back in the '90s. Looks like paternity test is negative- not his kid.


And what's with the underwear pics/ bikini pics of Miley Cyrus that broke in the news a couple of days ago? I know she was having fun with her girlfriends, but some of the pics were suggestive- she was covered, but suggestive. I don't think daddy Billy Ray has got to be happy about those pics I just hope someone just photoshopped her head to the body of those pics. Don't know how to post links to news articles, but you guys will probably see it on the internet anyways.

Penny - I was trying to look up what the OKC creature said, it is always something different (last year was a buffalo ) but couldn't find anything. Anyway I pulled up the Phil feed. Have you ever watched it? That poor thing is always going to see his shadow. Although it was extremely overcast (thus meaning there was no way he would have normally seen his shadow) they have so many lights shining down on the podium that he saw his shadow. So my predicition is that he is wrong. His prediction was tainted. Let's go with that!

The cheapest place I found my airfare for July was Delta.com and had to watch cause the prices were going up and down all the time.
One day it would say $360.00 a tix and a week later it would say $340.00 and hit $340.00 agian and I had the money thats when I bought them and I know its not alot of money but at least I saved $80.00 and last year I paid $380.00 a tix so all in all pretty good savings for a nostop flight.

About 3 weeks ago, she got a phone call from State Farm Ins. They wanted to know how she was doing after the accident? Ah - what accident?
Supposedly she was a passenger in a car that was hit by a car that was insured by State Farm.

What a strange, but funny story.... Did this all get straightened out? I hope there wasn't any problems with her credit and stuff.....

You know...it IS a shame he didn't get the 'transfer', BUT, look on the bright side. He is starting a fresh new start with the love of his life. Starting over CAN be a good thing, and life's too short to not spend it with the one you love.... I applaud his braveness & wish him lotsa luck!

We got our W2s tonight at work, and I as usual I'm annoyed (when am I not annoyed anymore -- geez). Think our W2s got messed up. My state and fed income on my W2 is about 3K higher than my final pay stub of 2007. Mike's federal is about 2.5K higher on his W2 than his last pay stub, but his state wages are almost the same. I don't even want to think about how long this is going to take to straighten out since we don't have any special circumstances like exercising stock options or getting relo money or whatever. Is anything easy any more?

I'm really hoping you got this straightened out....you could always tell them to just give you the money...since you've obviously already paid taxes on it?
