Same here last night we had heavy rain with 50mph winds some parts of our state even had tornado's

Heck 50 mph winds are a normal wind in Oklahoma.

Hi all-
We have our snow day today, too
I think we got between 10-12 inches, I really don't know exact amt. I just know the schools are all closed here today. Stopped snowing mid-morning. DH went off to work this morning- he was the first one at work, it was a little eerie he said b/c traffic was real light and being the first one to arrive at work was a little strange.
The kids are driving me a little nuts today
I got so many phone calls this morning
2 phone calls from the homeroom moms from school at about 6 am- to say school is closed. A couple of calls from Matthew's den leader from cub scouts.
A call from another mom that is heading up the school Variety show, that dress rehearsal was cancelled for this afternoon. I guess all the kids in the Variety Show are going to "wing it"- no dress rehearsal.
I'm just real tired today

Whoever wants snow can have my snow here!!

skool was good today.
not many showed up.
small classes.


some kid pulled the fire alarm and we had to evaculate the building.
no coat, no hat, you know the story ...........

it was snowing and blowing outside.


but, i almost got away with hiding with the kids........got caught when one looked out the window and waved to all outside.




i have to go to jewel. can't make dinner until i buy something like food

Can someone eat Mexican for me tonight??? Maybe some fahitas. . . my favorite are what's called Texas Style around here. They've got shrimp, chicken and beef. . . dh and I usually split an order.

jodie - i live a little over an hour or so away from Phil, no - i've never joined the gaggle of groundhog groupies (mostly college kids, up all night - enough anti-freeze in them to not feel any pain). ps phil is a chick, no wonder he seems confused

Hey gang - checkin for the evening. I had a longer day at work than I wanted. I was hoping to pack up and leave the client by 4 which would get us back to the office at 5. Well, my partner was having a meeting with the CEO that lasted from 3pm to 5pm.

So, now I am sitting here in my flannel pants and robe, and have had dinner (pizza). I may make it another 30-35 minutes before I hit the bed tonight.

same furnace.
bought it new last year when ours was condemmed and had to replace it.
it sucks not to have heat.

don't know if it is fixed or not.
we have to wait and see after it runs all night.

if problems come back, then the company is contacting the manufacturer.
i have a 10 year warranty for all parts and service.

i wouldn't mind having furnace problems in the summer, not the winter.
