Well, let's go mess up Damo's new house. I mean you guys are welcome here but there isn't anything to do around here and it is really ugly in the winter. At least SC is nice. Besides I am looking for some place to move out in that part of the country so it would give me a chance to check it out.

lori, i had a kid leave once during the night and no one told me until the next day.
i always hated to be the last to know what was going on.

did i ever tell you the time my sons had friends spend the night and we totaled 7 boys here? oldest one was 12, youngest was 8.

they cranked call their friends.
only problem it was the parents that got up during the night to answer the phone......

the police that came told me if the boys stopped doing that, no charges would be pressed.

stupid kids. i showed them how to block called id after that.

you were brave...AND very smart to teach them to block the ID....you're a 'cool Mom'

today i am looking at my old mail and deciding what to do with it.
and after that, going to kmart to buy cleansing supplies.

I say "chuck the mail" ...who needs it?? ...and, didja remember to buy 'underwear' at kmart?

bubba, if donna and bonnie would cruise through the older trip report section in UO forum, they they could read all about mickey at uo with your family.

since i do halloween horror nights, i like staying at hard rock. so close to walk to since i stay at the park until 2 in the morning.

i can easily find my way back to the hotel.......

this surprises me....altho I have NO trouble finding the hotel....it's inside the joint that we get lost I'm amazed you can find your way around in there.....

I have actually been very lucky. I made it through 3 kids without ever having to have a slumber party. Last night was the first one ever. And man did we ever have a big one.

You and Janet both have had a kid disappear in the middle of the night. Must be a boy thing. Of course it wouldn't have surprised me either if the girls parents had come and got her and not let anyone know.

We've never had a sleep over (and that's okay with me!) and you guys are freaking me out (kids disappearing in the middle of the night and such) that I don't think i WANT to have any sleepovers..... (unless it involves homies and )

Hey everyone. . .just droppin in.

Having a rough "I wanna cheeseburger" day. Instead, dinner is grilled salmon, wild rice and steamed veggies. . . I know, I know, it's yummy and I would order it out over a burger any day. . . it's just that I know I may not eat the burger so I want it so very badly!!!!!

I went with my dad & stepmom to Latin Quarter. Three 1/2 empinadas, 2 small breadrolls, and two 1/2 chicken&beef skewers later, um, yeah. Add the flan I had at the end....

I still have 1/2 of the meal for tomorrow.

Well....it's time for bed....but first to let you in on what the Bubba family dun today........

Managed to get out of work a little early...post-holidays, it's usually easy to do! Wasn't home long, and DH took us all ice skating. This is at the sports complex that Bubba plays soccer in and the same rink DH plays hockey on. It's been awhile since we skated (maybe close to a year?) and Bubba was a bit 'rusty' We were there about an hour and he greatly improved! By the time it was time to go, he was almost skating backward and quite the sweatball! (all that skating is hard work dontcha know!)

After skating, we drove up the street (maybe took 1 minute!) to Buca di Beppo for dinner.....

Where we started with bread & oil........

....and 'pan fried mozzarella'..........

(a/k/a 'mozzarella stix in 'blob' shape!)

They were quite the challenge for Bubba .........

Bubba had the pizza..........

We had a large (family size) sampler platter....cheese manicotti, ravoli, stuffed shells and something else I can't remember......

Well...that is what was left...we were stuffed! That will be dinner for us on Sunday.... I likes those ''buy 1 meal get 2 out of it'' deals

After dinner, Bubba "Heeley-ed" it across the parking lot to Target w/ DH and I drove over and found a parking spot. Our sole purpose for going to Target was toothpaste . While there, we checked out the videogames, and we secretly picked up the Huntsville Mystery File/Case game (thanks Todd!) for somebody's birthday that's coming up.....they had one other one, but the box was busted up , but I think he'll like this one (& only $19.99).

After our purchase, we headed home, where we got comfy and popped Spiderman 3 into the DVD player (DH borrowed it from a dude at work). About half way thru, DH whipped up some s'mores and we enjoyed our movie and s'mores....altho, don't know which we enjoyed more?

Thought S3 was very good.... I totally called the ending on that one

All in all, a very good day in house of Bubba...... a LOT of 'family togetherness time' .....but, we survived!!

Off to bed.... (noting my 9500 post)
