I did my first attempt at ornament shopping today. I have a couple of choices in mind for the person I got, but I couldn't find anything that worked for me today.

I'll try again. Sigh.

i went shopping for my homie this morning.
i bought the ones i love.
now i have to go back to hallmark and buy one for the exhange.........

i was able to yak with rose briefly by pm today.

she said to tell everyone she is fine but very busy with kids, and life.
she still loves us all


she thinks we talk too much and she is getting behind..........
i wonder where that idea came from???

rose petal, just jump in and start talking when you come back.
half the people don't even read the crap i write so i just keep yakking away...

If I remember right, she was using the wireless connection from the neighbor's house. Maybe that neighbor encrypted his/her network (thanks to DS for that bit of computer knowledge), or moved away.

Got the crap scared out of me on way to WM, watched a massive branch fall out of a tree that hovers over the road & fall 15 feet in front of me...put on my jake brake ...still hit it hard, SUV bounced. If i were a betting woman, and I am, have a feeling my 2 new tires will be flater than pancakes in the am. Glad it didn't crash thru the windshield. the car behind me got the worst of it, wound up off the road.

Mac - i've got a tree to my credit, 2 deer ran in front of me in the summer, DH tagged one in the spring. the Hulkster has gotten strange, must be all those steriods. Stick a pin in wifey-poo & watch her float away ala a balloon...show me the money. Hope he has a prenup.

barb - i have no defense, neither does the steelers offense . Our "ex" joey porter had it out for ex's, rightly so. The field literally was ankle deep in water due to the turf that had been laid less than 24 hours prior. They never did seem to get it right in the 1st place & the HS playoffs & Pitt tear it to heck & back.

tracie - haven't taken the bags out of their protective garbage bags yet (cats like to shred them & dogs like to scent them...i've lost control lol)

elmer - think my knowledge of the racers' names got sucked out of my head into the black vortex that is DSs bedroom. He's lost his new khaki shorts he wore 1 time since last trip, a pair of chinos & 2 belts. He got WM pants this time & his room is being spit-shined over the next holiday break - or else.

sharon - they say the school holiday is for Thanksgiving, i say it's to prevent mass absenteism, teachers & students.

not to be a spoiler, read a bit in the TV guide magazine as to funny bit with the cat getting distracted - supposed to be a highlight. Evidently, a series of vinettes from charactars convincing Shrek Xmas is a good deal

i had my dates mixed up (magazine comes 2 weeks early lol) and my family was all set to watch it last week...another of my mixed up moments lol.

fyi, macy's has the cutest shrek (sqeeze him & he talks) with 2 mini puppets for $15 w/a purchase.

IOA - It's confirmed that this year’s Grinchmas at IOA would feature a new
musical Grinch show as well as the Who-ville Wonky Tree Lot. There will also
be a Grinch character breakfast available Thursdays through Sundays at 8am.



USF - In a strange bit of news, there's a rumor about a new project in the
works for the park. Don't get your hopes up though, it’s not about a major new
attraction, but rather some interesting construction and demolition. If the
latest rumors are true, USF could be installing a new Starbucks into the
park. In a possibly related bit of news, there's also something about a possible
plan to add a Doughnut shop somewhere in the park, possibly as a tie into The
Simpsons, but that’s just a wild rumor at this point.




USH - It’s been years in the making, but apparently the SkyVenture at
Citywalk next to USH has finally opened. Of course for some strange reason not
mentioned, the attraction has suddenly been renamed iFly Hollywood. Videos of
iFly Hollywood have already started to appear on YouTube. Also, USH will begin
their holiday celebration that will run from Nov 23 to Dec 31. They've added
Christmas decorations throughout the park, new musical acts and the world’s
largest mistletoe hanging from Citywalk’s Santa Gorilla.

I just "spoke" with damo recently....she is very very busy and she 'lurks'.... (maybe if we talk about her, she'll come back when she's a little 'unbusy') Also, Melanie230 hasn't been around since our vacation this summer...she didn't even finish her trippie Guess some people are here a lot prior to their trip, but afterwards, trip over, they vacate .... Wish goofy! & tarheelmjfan would come back too..... lynne & linda.... and phamton....i know she lurks!

Thanks for sharing...hadn't been to that site in awhile.... thought they were thinking about a coaster at USF like they have in Hong Kong?

I don't drink coffee, so the Starbucks doesn't affect me....but the 'donut' shop.... THAT would be a great tie-in to Simpson's on that side of the park...... maybe Starbucks selling Homer's donuts? Now THAT would be some coffee shop!

OMGosh!! Melissa!! She lurks....she's busy..... she won't drop by and say 'hi' ( i thinks we too chatty)....but she has got to be lurking.....
