Looking for transportation from MCO with a grocery stop. Final destination animal kingdom Lodge
I read Kroger is no longer going to be operating in Florida come January 2026. At least the distribution centerI have tried a bunch of different iterations of ways to get groceries and have found that the best combination of price (no instacart markups, reasonable delivery fee, and no tips)/selection (it’s a full supermarket vs whatever target has in their grocery section)/convenience (delivery vs. pickup) to be Kroger delivery straight to the resort.
Bummer!I read Kroger is no longer going to be operating in Florida come January 2026. At least the distribution center
15 minute grocery stop is too short when you are not familiar with the store/layout.Why not try FL Tours? They sponsor this section of the DIS Boards.

That's one reason I like to shop at Publix - their app not only allows you to make a list, it shows where the items are including whether left end, right end or middle of the back wall. Makes it very easy to shop efficiently there!15 minute grocery stop is too short when you are not familiar with the store/layout.
Probably not an issue for anything you'd want to pick up to bring to a WDW hotel, but I would caution that the Publix app isn't always 100% correct on product location. I've had multiple items (mostly in frozen) that are mis-categorized and show up in the wrong aisle in the app. That's one reason I like to shop at Publix - their app not only allows you to make a list, it shows where the items are including whether left end, right end or middle of the back wall. We've snowbirded in Cocoa Beach for the past 5 years and aside from the Ocean, I absolutely love Publix and miss it terribly when back home to the Midwest. It's diagonally across the street from the condo we rent and it's been like an 'old friend'. We go to Disney a lot when there and always seem to make a Publix stop on the way home. That's one reason I like to shop at Publix - their app not only allows you to make a list, it shows where the items are including whether left end, right end or middle of the back wall. You're right - I've only shopped there for vacation groceries, so I haven't noticed incorrect placements. OTOH, I have noticed similar errors on the app for my hometown grocery.Probably not an issue for anything you'd want to pick up to bring to a WDW hotel, but I would caution that the Publix app isn't always 100% correct on product location. Same experience. Never felt rushed using Tiffany and stopping at Publix. Now I order for pickup but my husband still goes in to pick up stuff like wine. We are definitely at Publix more than 20 minutes.Tiffany Towncar offers a 20 minute grocery stop, but, every time we've used them they say take as long as you need.
