psssshhhttttt!!!! We never get tired of pictures.

Tracie, that is a GREAT idea!

I know I shouldn't buy something just for this, but he has absolutely nothing that even comes in the ballpark of rural farmland Georgia from 150 years ago... unless I use a paper grocery sack and try to pass him off as a Cherokee Indian. He doesn't own a flannel shirt, or even a checkered one for that matter. Eh... what's another $10 in worthless crap when you consider what I've already throw at the school.

One of my good friends, who is the mother of 4, says she has been so beaten down by the schools that she just rolls into the fetal position and throws her wallet at them in self defense. Her kids all go to a private Catholic school, so I guess that doesn't eliminate the fund raising crap.

Ughh, I sooooo shouldn't be posting this now, but I would like to let everyone know that FUG (which is code for Fat, Ugly, George (Clooney) because that's who we decided he looks like if George Clooney were fat and ugly and had 2 many moles, and too long eyebrows and ear hair) went out to get dinner 15 minutes ago. He ordered Chinese, and I was only 5 minutes off.

He doesn't live with his momma -- his momma died a few years ago, but he is a spoiled brat-type of only child.

ANDDDDDDD, he asked my buddy to change the station to Jeopardy for him so he didn't have to mess with it when he came back.

I'm not lying. I swear I am NOT lying.

And, gross, I had to listen to him say "I love you" to his girlfriend.

I think I may be in purgatory....

Thank you for listening.

:lmao: Jodie, now you realize that I've got this image in my head of FUG. How do you get rid of it? :scared:

ain't read yet...ain't caught up....wanted to drop in and say.........

'sup dogz???

I ain't dead, dead tired, but not dead.....yet.....haveta finish chores before CSI w/ DH (a/k/a: 'quality time')

catch up w/ ya's soon......

hope everyone is :thumbsup2

Hey Barb! Glad you're okay. We watched CSI last Thursday, the season finale from last year, and Ally loved it. Last night she said she couldn't wait till Thursday. I couldn't figure out why and she said so I can see what happens on CSI!:scared1: Not cartoons, not Hannah Montana, but CSI.

Well, I wonder how Mac's first day went. I hope she is having the most fabulous time ever.

You know it just came to me but wouldn't it be great to have a homie's trip sometime in the future?!

Barb - What's up at the moment is trying to get my bed made. Aren't I doing a good job? ;)
See, I took a shower this morning... the first shower since before my fever hit Saturday evening... and once I was fresh as a daisy, I noticed that our bed wasn't. Obviously my fever/chills/sweats and no-shower-Sunday combo equaled a stinky bed. So, this afternoon when I finally felt like it, I stripped the bed and started washing. I just now got everything back out of the dryer. I should go finish. Really.

Lori - I think a homie trip would be fun! I don't know if we could possibly schedule anything that would work for all of us, but dang it would be a good time if we could! :goodvibes

what month? what date?

????????????????????????????????????

I'll start packing!

I volunteer Dec. 1st:laughing: , my 1/2 day before cruise. That is if we don't get a flight delay due to weather; just missed a big snowstorm last year same time.

After which, I cannot believe we won't be back to FLA until fall/winter 2008:sad1:

DH keeps telling me "...California is very different..." in an ominous tone:confused3

So, i don't do CSI (except late night repeats). anyone watch Heros or Journeyman? Thumbs up for the 1st, jury is out on the 2nd; but the guy-KevinMcKidd (Lucius Vorenusfrom Rome/HBO) is very easy on the eyes....like him better in gladiator gear;)

MORNING!!!!!

Going to be a good day today....not very profitable, but a good day!!!!

I like the idea of a "homie" trip....however, to go w/o my boys, well, yeah, they'll never let that happen :rolleyes1

Okay, darn it!!!! QUIT MOVIN' THE SMILIE'S AROUND!!!!!

Now, in the spirit of our founder...Lemme 'ketchup' :teeth:

Tracie...Glad to hear the party was a success and he loved your surprise! I love those priceless looks on faces! Tell FBean congrats for all us!!! 3-0 is great! :cheer2: <---CBean KBean--->:cheer2: (We are a lowly 1-1-1 :confused3 )

Jodie...thanks for the info about BB's...will pass along to DH. Hopefully 2 days at CC will be easy on the bar bill and I can find something to do on the ship on the Nassau day.....last cruise we took was 4 nites (RCL) and bartab was only $80 :thumbsup2 Not bad...imho...... I think you need to pull a prank on FUG-boy....maybe "break" the tv??? ...or something else..... :scratchin Oh, and hilight if you want to read what happens to Edie: she hangs herself and dies...hence the noobie coming in (I posted that on the Desp. Housewives thread on CB) Didn't want to 'spoil' for anyone ;)

Penny....i will 2nd Janet's nomination for official scorekeep...:thumbsup2 Consider the job yours!

Janet....now, try to keep me straight.....salon days are Tues, Fri & Sat. Office days are Mon, Wed, Thur...altho, looking for another job to walk on office job  Bubba is getting better w/ the cursive, it just doesn't "flow" for him ..... yet .... and, he needs to tilt his paper and hold pencil differently, but we've been working on the holding thing for 2+ years now... :guilty: He'll get it.... someday..... hopefully.....
Also looking forward to your Halloween pix.....some peeps really love Halloween and go "all out"....you're one of those peeps, aintcha? ;) SO close Janet...DH watches Heros and Journeyman... :rotfl: Just CSI here.....

Janet and Lori....what happened to your WDW AP's??? Just got too expensive to renew?? :confused3

Lori....Wonderful pix of Ally...and her doggie is SO very cute! I could see why she was so upset when she went missing..... I'm glad she's back and everyone is okay..including Ally. Altho, she didn't look too happy in the other pix :confused3 ....and they were FUN pix! Don't ever worry about 'boring' me...i am pathetic and love to look at pix. AND, they are "easy" to read ..... (in the words of macraven & janet ;) )

Tricia.... uh...huh? :confused3 Come dressed in Heritage duds?? Oh well, be glad you don't have a GIRL i guess :sad2: I agree w/ Lori...a load of crap. Last year, the kids did a 1 one page report on someone famous. Ryan had Albert Einstein. They had to read their report up in front of the class....AND had to be DRESSED in character:eek: ...so, needless to say, unless Einstein wore a red hoodie w/ sweatpants and sneakers, he wasn't dressed like him! It gets old after awhile, and you WANT to help them out (because everyone else is doing it), but it goes over the top too often. What Mom doesn't want HER baby to be the ONLY one NOT doing this stuff *sigh*......
Glad to hear the fever is better and you are feeling better (nice shower does wonders, don't it??) I totally 'get' the whole icky sheets on the bed thing....don't blame you there!! At least you didn't HAVE to watch the Falcons suffer....or did you co-miserate? I would agree Vick had a LOT to do w/ the success of that team winning...a shame it was a 1-man team, but maybe management will learn not to put all their eggs in one basket ;) I guess they just rebuild from here.....

So, no karate tonite...soccer pictures.... easy nite for the boy...who had a rough nite last nite. He got home from school and immediately had to start on his homework (something I really hate to make him do) because he forgot a paper he needed at school on Friday. So, you forget it for the weekend, it now becomes the first thing you do when you walk in the door. He wasn't quite finished that, when I threw dinner at him. After dinner, he changed into soccer duds, and finished homework assignment. Then, it was off to soccer practice....where it gets dark (& chilly) on us now :sad2: Coach mentioned about winter soccer and if we sign up by Oct.1, we get our 2nd two months free....So 4 months for appx. $70/kid.... A lot of boys seemed interested :thumbsup2 Hope it works out and isn't too much more than that (it's a certain price, broken down into "x" amount of kids...if our whole team does it, that would be the price) So, home we come and he does his chores and gets a shower. Does the cursive homework and math homework he had gotten that day in skool. Has a snack and brushes teeth and such to ready for bed. It's now 8:40pm.... told him he could have 1/2 hour to relax w PS2, tv, computer game...whatever.... He went to bed about 9:15ish and I was waking him this morning at 7:30am. Mondays and Wednesdays are that tight, busy schedule for him.....it's a lot for him, but we keep telling him he's getting older, more responsibility and such... He's a good kid...so, I can't complain......

Hope everyone has a good day....I'm off to do some stuffs..... :guilty: maybe get something accomplished today.....

I volunteer Dec. 1st:laughing: , my 1/2 day before cruise. That is if we don't get a flight delay due to weather; just missed a big snowstorm last year same time.

Um, I checked my schedule, and that works for me. That's makes 2 of us, so everyone else will have to work around our schedules ... got it folks?!

Seriously, we will be at the HRH Nov. 28 - Dec 3. A mini meet!

Of course, you could hate me and think I'm a selfish alcoholic (and you wouldn't be alone) and you can tell me to buzz off. I'm thick skinned. I'm used to it.

But, I DOOO love Lucius Vorenus. I haven't watched Journeyman yet though. Need to tune in!

So, no sooner did I post about FUG last night (and I do have his pic that I can email to anyone interested), did he come back into work and do something nice for me. You see, I had mentioned that I had a craving for a 3 Musketeers Bar. When he went to dinner, he also stopped at the drug store and picked me up one. Now, here I am feeling all mad at myself for being terribly mean and complaining about him on a public message board and I really need to stop doing that and at least make feeble attempt at being a better person. Until, I realized why he had done it ... he needed a BIG favor from me on Monday, and now how I was supposed to say no after he learned of my craving and bought me candy? Goodness ...

Well, I do hope everyone has a great day!

:rolleyes1

Easy....say, "Sorry...have plans that day....can't help you out...." Who cares...you didn't ASK him to buy you candy....he did that himself! His loss.....

(You're too nice)

jodie - just think of the karma you can garner by being nice to FUG lol.

barb - I probably keep thinking bubba is older than he is, what grade is he in? I'm sure he'll get with the flow soon...tell him it's way quicker than printing once he gets the hang of it.:thumbsup2

Against DHs wishes:rolleyes1 (course he's not the one who make the trips work budgetwise), I'm planning on smuggling a bottle of something on board our cruise probably in empty water bottles (i draw the thin line @ beer or soda) how trashy is that?:rotfl: doing the math for a 7 day cruise, based on $4 - $5 a beer & mixed drinks makes me feel faint; factor in the gambling & i'll have to get a real job to pay the bar tab:scared:

We're permitted to bring on 2 bottles of wine or champagne.

Other than the fact that i'm cheap, hate the thought of paying premium (even over what a restaurant would charge) for their swill that they pass off as top-shelf

Additionally, DS (while the life of the party around is his friends) is shy around strangers & not one to hang out in the kids/teens clubs...so he'll be holed up in the cabin while DH & I sit in a bar. Plan on enjoying at least 1 night "out" but, otherwise will just enjoy a just a cocktail or two, then retire to our balcony to chill & indulge...sounds romantic (may have to send him off with $20 to the arcade;) )

Off to mounds of laundry & make pumpkin pies - whoppee.

okay
I watched CSI Miami spoiler alert!
(I tape, dont stay up)

It was ......okay...kinda boring......actually did nothing for me for a season opener.....too bad....I used to really like this show....now it is so....what is the word....I got it...ORDINARY. between Yelana, and that Wolfe dude(whom I cannot stand), and Delko and his crisis, and now the Horatio parent thing.....
