Have a fab holiday Mac..and remember- I am so jelous!! Say hi to Spidey for me. xxx

Okay-

the Pats, Steelers Colts, Dallas and Green Bay are all 3-0 :thumbsup2

Eagles and Giants won a game
Eagles and Redskins had retro Uni days... THAT COLOR YELLOW???????????

Sorry about the Falcons.....0-3.

Mac- I know you already left, but have a great trip!!:cool1:
Glad you're feeling better :thumbsup2 :dance3:

Oh, as of sports teams, DH and I are CUBS fans!!! :dance3:

As of Da Bears, well, they are I think 1-2 :sad2:
I forgot to ask my DH last night. He was watching most of the game last night. But it didn't sound good, so I think Da Bears are 1-2.
Oh well, guess sexy Rexy (Rex Grossman) isn't that sexy after all :rotfl2:
I really don't follow football as much as I do baseball.

Ok have a good day everyone!
I'll try to be back later if I can.

The Falcons are just sad. We may not win a game. At least they didn't stink up the field yesterday.

And poor Morty, the guy keeps trying to retire and we keep yanking him back on the roster. Thats our kicker, Morten Andersen, who we signed AGAIN after releasing that joker that couldn't hit a field goal if his life depended on it. Morty joked that when he went for his physical, he was afraid they'd draw dust from his veins. I don't know how old he is, but he has to be late 40s by now.

thanks for the recap:) i nominate you for the offical scorekeeper each week!

tricia - in my opin they need to give Leftwich a try:rolleyes1 , course nobody asked me. Wan't he a bit of a trouble maker with the Jags? just the thing the team would need at this point...hope it works out.

rose - 'da bears game was pretty evenly matched last night, could've gone either way imo; too bad about the injuries

tracie - glad the partee was a winner! We need a good, hard frost to knock out out the weeds - very soon!

lori - i was disappointed by the 1st movie (good, thought it was missing a spark?); hope this one is way better. I'm really looking forward to the Indy Jones movie next May:) ; think DL might have something special tied into the ride? We never tried AKV (had it booked for 1 night in dec. switched to RPR instead) SSR or OKW. I do think SSR would be a great choice for an adult only trip. Embarrassingly, i get antsey on a more than 10 min. commute to the parks now - how spoiled is that?

jodie - i'm such a wuss, hope that taking the pic so stylist can see what i want will do the trick. Frustrating to me, had gone to another girl for more years than i care to admit. She just kept no showing up for appointments & developing nasty habits to the point of jail time:sad2: .

barb - cutting locks today? how's bubba settling in on the cursive writing?

marci - off to read the rest of your report:thumbsup2
cannot forget mac on her pilgrimage to the motherland:yay:  good luck nanners for you; hope your trip is all you could wish & MORE! ps take pics!

Thanks for the plot outline Lori  looks interesting. Thought they were going to play off the "big" ending of the first one...glad to see they're not. ...and yeah, I hope they burn them stinkin' jerseys...UGLY!!! Unfortunately, they are saying they were good luck, as the Eagles hadn't posted those kind of points in YEARS :sad2: Greeeaatttt.....hoping we're not "stuck" with that putrid yellow/blue the rest of the season :guilty:

Have a good night all....cya tomorrow.....

You are very welcome. National Treasure is such a good movie can't wait to see how good they do with this one.

Lori, good luck defragging! Takes my puter forever to go through that and scan disc and blaaahhh!

Well, I started the spyware & virus scan @ 8 and it ended about midnight. Then told it to defrag on its own and went to sleep. I have no idea what time it finished but it i feeling much better now.

Morning Homies!!!

DH's party was a smashing success!! The friend from the military was a HUGE, HUGE surprise for him and he thought that was the best part of his day! He almost cried!!

Hope you all had a great weekend. Kbean and Cbean are suffering bad with either hayfever or a cold right now  Fbean just asked for ice cream cake for breakfast :scared1: Fbean's team won again Friday night that is 3-0 for them WHOOOOhooooooo!!! He assisted with 2 tackles in the very beginning and was all pumped up - it was cute!

Sounds like the party was wonderful.

Hope the girls feel better soon. Congrats to Fbean!!!!

Well that is old for a football player, but he is a good one. It is really hard to start the season off the way the Falcons had to. If they had been able to prepare for a new QB the whole off season things may have been different. At least now you don't have to deal with Vick any more and next year they can get back on track.

So, how are you feeling this morning? Hope you're feeling all better!

Morning Rose, Penny & Gemma!

HAVE A GREAT TRIP MAC!!!!

lori - i was disappointed by the 1st movie (good, thought it was missing a spark?); hope this one is way better. I'm really looking forward to the Indy Jones movie next May ; think DL might have something special tied into the ride? We never tried AKV (had it booked for 1 night in dec. switched to RPR instead) SSR or OKW. I do think SSR would be a great choice for an adult only trip. Embarrassingly, i get antsey on a more than 10 min. commute to the parks now - how spoiled is that?

I think I just like to look at Nic! Have you been to DL before? The Indy ride is one of my all time favorites. I hate it that we can't get out there more often, haven't been since 2000.

We haven't stayed at AKV yet but did stay at AKL one fall. It is a beautiful place, but to us it is for a short stay. Ally did not like the smell in the Mara. We would have to go in and get food and then take it outside to eat it. The smell of some of their spices is a litlle over-powering.

Now for SSR, we all really enjoy it. The pool is great, especially when you have little ones with you. But nothing can compare to VWL. Actually ran mother over there on our trip this past summer so she could see the lodge. She told me that she wants to stay there next time and even said she wants to pay cash to stay in the lodge itself for a few nights so she can have a courtyard view. I think we walked around for a good hour!

We are at the point that the parks are just a little something extra to do, we woould rather just take it easy around the resort. We have really gotten lazy with our touring. Maybe it was because we were there in Sept., Dec., and then again in July/Aug. this past year. I am actually really looking forward to California next summer.

I am also hoping to be able to make it out to VB at some point next year to either see some turtles nesting or catch the hatchlings.

tricia - in my opin they need to give Leftwich a try:rolleyes1 , course nobody asked me. Wan't he a bit of a trouble maker with the Jags? just the thing the team would need at this point...hope it works out.

At this point, it couldn't hurt to put Leftwich in... so why not? I know he came to us from the Jags, but I don't know much about him.

I think the guys got all caught up in the drama surrounding Vick and haven't found their feet yet. Personally, I'm happy to lose every game this season if it means I don't have to see Vick in a Falcons jersey again... ever.

I think I'm getting better. My fever is way down. Now it is fluctuating between 98.8 and 99.9. I guess whatever it going on is improving? Anyway, I'm going to try and wait it out. I'm weak and my muscles are sore, I guess from the chills I'd get when my fever climbed so high, but all around I think I'm improving.

Here are some pics from this weekend:

tricia - forgot about your fever, glad to hear it "broke".

lori - great pics:thumbsup2 what breed of dog? We've never done California as a family (DH hated his "time" as he put it there while stationed @ San Diego:confused3 & even though he has a CDL absolutely refuses to consider driving out there). Finally, talked him into it for next summer since we're out of WDW APs anyway good of an excuse as any lol.

starting to wonder if Oct/Nov/Dec.wouldn't be a better choice (crowds, hotel rates, nightmare before Xmas and possibly late Nov/Dec -MVMCP?); just would have to be a slightly shorter trip due to school obligations.

off to RL(:

Janet - she is a Pomeranian, she is the one that was missing for 10 days. Ally was thrilled to have her back. She has such a special personality.

I'm sure the later dates would be better but we are also going to go to Yosemite & the Redwood Forest. We also want to find some places to pan for gold & dig for other gems. Those are things Michael has been wanting to do for a long time but we have always gone to WDW instead. This year he is finally going to get to do the things he wants to do. And yeah, our AP's are finally up too!

Cute pics, Lori!!

Janet, good luck with your stylist. I know it's hard getting through sometimes. I love my stylist now, but it took me FOREVER to find one who understood an "Inch is an Inch."

Barb, the beer buckets on DCL .... the bartenders will offer them to you left and right. It is 5 bottles of beer for the price of 4, and you can mix and match beers. They will give them to you in a bucket full of ice. If one of your beers happens to get warm, you can trade it in for a cold one. We used this many, many times, and I dare not tell you what our onboard acct tallied by the end of a 4-day cruise.

Tricia, glad to hear that you're feeling a bit better.

Now, while you are all happily chatting tonight, could you please think of me while I am working with the most dreadful, boorish man in the whole world? OK, not in the whole world, but definitely my whole work group. I CANNOT STAND this man. This is how my night will go with him:

He'll come in ever so slightly late. His girlfriend (I find it odd that a 59-year-old man has a "girlfriend" but whatever) will call no less than 12 times. In addition, he'll spend the first 2.5 hours on the phone doing "errands," talking with his daughters, etc. The next hour will be spent online buying parts or researching a trip or some other personal thing. Then, at precisely 6:20, he'll go out to get himself dinner. He'll be back before 7 to change the Weather Channel (we have it on all the time since the weather affects the telecom network) to Jeopardy! He'll play Jeopardy out loud. When Jeopardy is done, his girlfriend will call again. He'll be on the phone the rest of the night. Then, at 10 pm, knowing that his relief is coming in in about 1/2 hour, he'll look over the network, decide what he's missed, asked me what I've already taken care of, and then scramble to show that he's done something all night. And, oh, yeah ... he's practically deaf, and it's my fault he can't hear me! JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, Jodie...

I know it isn't funny to be working with him, but the way you describe it is hysterical! :lmao:

You have my sympathy.

Oh Jodie! Sounds like sooooo much fun, not! I'll be thinking about you.

Thanks for all the comments on the pics everyone.

Okay, so Joshua climbs into the car this afternoon wearing a sticker that says "Picture Day Tomorrow". No big deal. I knew that was coming and that was why I hauled the boys down for haircuts on Saturday. He buckles in and says, "Thursday is Heritage Day."

Yeah, I knew about that one too. Our county is celebrating its sesquicentennial (try to say that 5 times fast) and there was a big hoopla on the town square last weekend and the schools are all celebrating on different days this week. No big deal. He then adds, "We're supposed to dress up like old people."

Huh?

"You mean you are supposed to dress like people did 150 years ago?"

"Yeah. They said boys should wear overalls and straw hats."

"You don't have overalls or a straw hat."

"Oh, well we should go get them then."

Sigh. Looks like we'll be heading to Wal-Mart for a cheap pair of overalls that will probably never see the light of day again. :sad2:

Ya know I used to go to the trouble of making sure the kids did all that. Then I just decided it was crap. Of course I do have 4 kids and have had a lot of time to figure this one out. Now we just use anything we might have here and otherwise forget it. Ally really doesn't care one way or the other.

lori - i thought it was a pomie; what my youngest wanted but, i picked a schipperke instead (man, i could've had a pommie:laughing: ). My baby isn't sweet, she's a bit of a beast.

tricia - could he be an indian:idea: ?

jodie - sounds like a real loser; probably still lives with his mummie

i was bad today, bought 2 new halloween decorations. One is a pirate skeleton in a cage that throws insults (my kinda guy) and the other is a giant grim reaper with chains who lights up...will post more pics. My youngest son has jokingly pronounced that "there's something wrong with you" ;) i'll take it as a compliment.

bbl

hero's tonight & new "guy from Rome" program:woohoo: doesn't take much to get me excited anymore.
