Hi all-

I've been very busy running around doing errands, etc, the past 2 days. More errands to do tomorrow
Tonight, DS has his first band lesson/ practice. Parents are supposed to attend the first lesson. So I'll be busy with that tonight.

No new updates with the school bus driver. Same bus driver from Friday, the driver my kids have had since the beginning of the school yr.
I hope at least the bus driver's supervisor talked to her
I've had some real doozy school bus drivers in the past few yrs, this one isn't the only one I had problems with. The bus co. keeps their drivers, no one ever gets fired, etc.

Ok, so what happened with the DIS this morning? Too much overload?

I turned in early too, so I don't know when it quit working. I only know that when I tried to check the DIS page this morning, it wouldn't load. I figured it was a problem with the DIS because it was the only website I couldn't load AND I wasn't getting any emails about my subscribed threads having new posts.

Thanks for the Blues Clues song. Like I don't hear that enough. Daniel will suddenly shout "I see a clue!" then he'll look around and yell "Where? Where is the clue?" then he'll run off to find his Handy Dandy Notebook.

To all else....hope we are havin' good dayz..... I decided to ask the boss(s) for a raise today...told them I am worth more money....will know in a week. I've never asked for a raise before, always been paid "my worth"...so, we'll see how goes Oh, and I didn't have a chance to replace my mouse, so still usin' touchpad , so not much yakin' outta me till I get a new one. Bubba took a faceplant at soccer practice tonite. He tripped and when he fell, his knee went up under his chin and he bit his tongue ..yes, it bled, yes he was upset, but he's not a "crybaby" and after a few sips of water, he was right back out there Intense practice tonite...first game Saturday! He did get his uniform...2 jerseys (1 home/1 away)...think I'll wear his "away" jersey to the home game (and vice versa) to show him my support!! (Yes, I do fit in the same size as him .... as long as he's wearin' XL )

Well, that was my exciting day....oh, except for the pharmacy....let's just say a half hour there to pick up something that was called in today is ridiculous! I was ...especially since there wasn't anything to mix or count...it was nasal spray for cryin' out loud So, let's not go there....

Okay, the freakin' touchpad thing is drivin' me nuts....i'm goin' to bed....

Gemma - I didn't stick around to chat much last night because the pages kept taking SO long to load. I don't know if it was my ISP or the DIS, but it got annoying quick and I gave up.

Joshua came home with his first PTO Fund Raiser package yesterday. They didn't give us long to settle in, did they? He told me they had an assembly to tell the kids all about the stuff they are selling (everything from candles & gift wrap to chocolates & kitchen wares)... and get them all excited about the "free" prizes they can get for selling stuff. He's 5. We only have a limited number of relatives that I can hit up for help in the "selling for a fund raiser" department. Don't get him all excited about a limo ride to lunch because there is NO way he is going to sell $400 worth of stuff.

Oh, I don't mean the mom thing. We never get paid for that. I'm on the payroll of our business. In the company structure, Brad is listed as Owner and his title is President. I am listed as Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (or anything else to do with bookkeeping) and my title is Secretary. Of course, the titles don't mean squat. We just do whatever needs to be done.

Okay, that IS ridiculous. There is no required dollar amount for us to sell, so we don't have to make up the difference if we don't sell anything. I've already warned Joshua that we will probably sell 5 or 6 things and that will be it. He'll get a cheap plastic toy reward and have to be content with it.
