One more batch and I'll stop. I have dozens, but I'm trying to control myself here... really... ;)

Okay, I'll stop. Those are the best of the bunch anyway. It was a fun time, so thanks for letting me share. :goodvibes

Did they have the road closed then the whole way down from the Ring road to Hamilton.I know they had Broadway closed off.
I did not go in as i knew it would be mayhem in Bangor ,so we went to Belfast.

Im not sure what roads were closed. The traffic was hectic after the concert but the atmosphere was brill!! Everyone was so happy. :hippie:

Great pix Tricia...I'm sure the guys had a great time! :thumbsup2

They did, so I did. It just one of those rare places that both the 2 y/o AND the 5 y/o can really enjoy themselves.

Thanks for indulging me. I try to keep the rampant Mommy pics to a minimum, but sometime the beast overtakes me. ;)

;)

my vote for tag of the day:banana: :rotfl2: :goodvibes

great pics, i wanna play with the crane

sharon - haven't been to Ft L for years, didn't know housing was reasonable, sound tempting for you...we're saving for the Contemporary DVC;) :wizard:

gemma & rpbert1 - fans of Smiths or Morrissey? He's cancelled both times he was booked in Pittsburgh(once while DS getting ready to park his car @ the arena:rolleyes1 ); hear he's infamous for this. He was booked @ U's HR a week or so after we left in July...wonder if he showed up.

Well I'm gonna start posting some pics from a week ago in FL.

I'm gonna just group them, since I did a live TR while down there! :thumbsup2

Thought you would all like these:

This is just a pic from Goofy's Candy Shop at Downtown Disney.

Just shows even Disney isn't perfect! :goodvibes

That looks like such a great place to take the kids.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and cakes! It really made my day! :goodvibes
I really liked Gemma's cake and Marcie's cake! I like Tinkerbell :)
Heck, I like all the cakes!

Got back awhile ago. Grandma was very happy we visited her(as she is always happy to get visitors) :)
Then my parents took us out for my birthday at TGI Fridays.
We actually celebrated my dad's birthday and my birthday together. My dad's birthday is next Sunday. Anyways, my mom made arrangements to have the waiter sing to us with our birthday desserts at Fridays. I never get that(the singing at the restaurant, as DH doesn't do that for me usually).

Tomorrow morning, Matthew and DH are going to march with his Cub Scout pack in our Septemberfest Labor Day parade. Got to get there somewhat early. Chrissy and I will be spectators :cheer2: Lots of walking.

RVGal- enjoyed the children's museum pics :thumbsup2
We have a few small children's museums in the Chicago area I used to take the kids to, that is similar to the pics you showed, not with the Sesame Street theme tho.

K-Fish- enjoyed your pics :thumbsup2

Marcie- I had re-read your TR at SF G.A. from yest. I didn't realize your boys got hurt, too :guilty: :headache:
I hope your boys and your DH are doing better  :wizard:
Did you go to First Aid at all?

Hi to all!

Have a good evening everyone.

Good evening all.....

Tricia...no wonder you and the boys were whooped....looks like a great time they had!! A perfect place for that age! Philadelphia has something like it called the Please Touch Museum...for tots too. They have the grocery shopping thing, they can drive a SEPTA bus  , etc.... I always wanted to take Bubba there, but time got away from me and he is too old now :guilty: Oh well.....at least he's now old enough to install his own computer games  (so he tells me tonite....and rightly proves it)

Rose....so glad to hear you had a nice birthday and Grandma enjoyed yer visit. (Extra long workout tomorrow w/ all that cake ya know ;) ) Enjoy the parade tomorrow.....I think the weather is supposed to be nice (at least here it is anyway)

Katie.....odor  ....I would have never noticed  Looking forward to all the pictures you have to share with us :goodvibes

Janet....I think you have/had the band Bad Company out Pittsburgh area in concert this weekend? Forgot to tell you earlier...ya shoulda gone..... we're family w/ the guitarist for Bad Co. We have seen him when he was close enough (hence the NY City pic on my MySpace page :rolleyes1 --long story), and I was actually able to say "I'm with the band" :rotfl: It was cool :thumbsup2

Mike...sorry to hear you're working Monday....BUT if it's more $$ AND a day you can use off on your vacation, I'd do it too. Why not? I'm not going to work Monday and I'm  ...heck, I'm THAT happy about it, let's use another

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend and not getting sick of burgers and dogs :headache: DH wanted brats tomorrow, so I picked some of them up for him. I was actually able to accomplish some stuff around the house today :yay: finally got the windows, tracks and sills cleaned ...been something I've been wanting to do for a year :rotfl2: Also, got a little more cleaned up and since my friend was over last nite, while working yesterday, DH dusted for me  He's so great! Nothing else too exciting in Exeter today....guess that's good? :confused3

Well....off to check stuffs.....l8rs......

Everyone is picking on the "Goofy" Odors.....

didn't anyone notice the "Clean Apon?" What's an APON? :confused3

Okay....I didn't notice the APON :headache: working on limited sleep, busy day and getting tired....so, no, blonde moment  ...but ya gotta admit, the "odor" is funny

Okay, quick flyby here while I wait for my wine to cool! ;) Just made DH run out and buy a bottle because I was craving wine after finally going to see the Harry Potter movie this afternoon (remember the scene where they're all eating dinner at Sirius' house and drinking wine?). I know we're behind on the movie, but we had to wait for 2 boys (who just started the HP books on our vacation) to get through book 5 first!

Okay, wacky question, but can you be allergic to alcohol? :confused3 I've really stopped drinking it, although I was never a big drinker. I do love wine and cheese though, and I've found that the last several times I've had it, I get an incredible hangover the next day - bad headache, nauseous, etc. Yet I'm drinking like half a glass at a time, with cheese, and always with a full glass of water as well. I'll guess I haven't had any in a couple months now, so I guess we'll find out tonight. Anyone heard anything like this? I hate to give up my wine and cheese! Up until that time, I probably drank a bottle of wine or so a week, but literally half a glass a night or so. Just seems weird?!

Oh, and Tricia - I love seeing the pics. You still have a ways to go to catch up to me (in terms of pics posted!) so don't worry! We always used to go to COSI when the kids were little which was a similar type place in Toledo. DS12 went to a cool dissection camp for a week there too when he was 8 - they actually dissected cow's and sheep's eyeballs, hearts, and brains, along with frogs and human kidneys! Doesn't that sound like fun? For someone who refused to take Bio I (that would be me!) and got grossed out by rods and cones in the eyeballs in Physics it sure doesn't! Don't know where he got those genes from! :confused3

Anyways, I really love the pic of them painting in the APON's, wait, I mean aprons! I can't believe I didn't catch that when I looked closely at the pic Katie posted. And I'm anal about those kinds of things. Guess I'm tired too!

Rose - sounds like a fun birthday! Glad you liked my elaborate cake - if I could only really make one like that! I had a good friend who made cakes and every time it was one of her (4) kids' birthdays, she'd be completely stressed out for weeks designing and making and decorating it. I go to the store on the kid's birthday, pay $20 and ta-dah! But it would be a cool skill to have! Oh, and we're fine - again, DS14 still has the scabs/red areas from yesterday, but the rest were just minor things. However, Gemma - if there's one near you - consider yourself warned!!

Are you drinking red or white? For some reason red wine gives me the bad headache. Maybe the tannin? Not sure what tannin is, but it sounds good! :rotfl:

These were little neighbors that we had in our backyard at the Vistana...
