Rose...sorry to hear about your son's incident...how scary!! I'd be freaking out! Glad he's okay, and the comment about Chrissy bringing the wrong papers home  (not funny, but it was after it was "plugged" after your son's story).
Thanks, Barb.

As of Chrissy bringing home the wrong papers, she's done this one other time before. It was a little funny about her ordeal. I just didn't want to go back into the school again, when I was JUST there.
It's not unusual for us to go back to school after they get off the bus, b/c Chrissy will forget some kind of homework, or Matthew will forget some kind of homework. Drives me crazy when my kids do this :scared:
It doesn't happen that often, but once in awhile, the kids forgetting to bring home a certain homework or book they need to use for their homework.

Goodnight Homies.

Well homies...I'm getting

Okay, thank you for coming up with perfume. I don't know that I would have dug that one out of my memory. Maybe... eventually... after years of torment... ;)

Barb - Great video! It must be a fun for your hubby because it is fun to watch. Did that make sense? It's early. Forgive me.

Rose - I would have lost my ever lovin' mind if they had lost my kid on a school bus. I would also be on the phone to every one that had anything to do with the bus company.

Katie - Beautiful earrings! I'll go with Barb on this one and say ENJOY it while you can. Odds are you'll have a few years ahead of you where splurges will be more along the lines of a Happy Meal. ;)

Penny - HAVE A FABULOUS TIME!

Well, guys, I'm up and away early this morning. Heading down to Atlanta to entertain the kids for a few hours. Enjoy your Saturday and/or weekend and/or vacation!

Rose!

OMG!
I hope the bus company speaks to the driver!!!!
I would not be happy regarding that situation if I were you.

Try and have a better weekend. Is Matthew okay today?

here is a laugh for you all........

Dh just brought home one of the "pixie dust mugs" from last year- I have been alternating them periodically for him at work for tea.
I said, glad you brought it home, this year you go back with
a mummy dust mug! :goodvibes

of course....I want shrek.....
and a shrek shirt, and key chain, and........
isnt that what the extra room in the suitcase is about????:rolleyes1

Good morning everyone!

Just finished opening gifts...made out like a bandit! :thumbsup2

Penny: have a great time! lots of mummy dust!

Tricia: I will definitely take advantage of the glamorous gifts while I can!

I'll be getting even more Mummy dust in a few days. I'll also be posting a Day 1 TR probably soon. I'm still on EST, so my body thinks it's nearly 11a, but it's barely 8a here.

D'oh!

Gemma- did you watch any of the Princess Diana memorial coverage today?
I'm guessing it was on most of the tv stations by you?
I only watched 30 seconds of it on the news.
Not sure how much coverage it got on the cable news shows today here.
I liked Princess Diana, but I just didn't get into wanting to watch any of the memorial coverage.

Hey, yep it was on here. Every August we get the Princess Diana Memorial TV. She was a wonderful lady though. Did you know 25% of people still think that she was murdered? According to the news yesterday. I remember the morning she died. I was visiting my friend down south in Cavan and we were watching Nickelodeon (sp?) and her mum was still in bed. Anyway, across the bottom of the screen it kept saying "The Royal Family have a very important message for you, please switch onto BBC1" and I kept saying to my friend "turn it on turn it on!" and after about 20 mins she finally turned it on and we heard that princess Diana was dead. We didn't really know who she was (9 year olds eh?) so we woke up her mum and told her and she freaked out running round the house to the nearest TV...she thought we were lying (parents eh?). My mum picked me up the next day. It was really sad- everyone was in a really sad mood in the streets and stuff.

Well I just have to share this....DF surprised me with my birthday gift early.

Diamond studs! I was thrilled, but  that he spent all that money!

Here they are from the site pic:
Diamondearrings.jpg

THEY ARE GORGEOUS!! So pretty- your fiance has great taste! Im sure you are thrilled!! I have a diamond ring that I got for my 18th...wish I could show you a pic. It's platnuim with a princess cut diamond in the middle and 3 brilliant cut diamonds on either side of it. I love it! But I'm not allowed to wear it until I'm 22 (apparently that's when Ill appreciate it! grrrr mum!)

pssst....gemma - I could be pui right now, but am thinking better of it :thumbsup2 .....HOMIES - have a great night!!! :drinking1

:rotfl2: :lmao: That's hilarious!! Gotta loveeee the drink! Don't drink too much- the hands start to feel wobbly and you cannot spell to save your life! lol)

Hello? Anybody pay attention to my vent? :confused3
Just looking for some emotional support.

I read it and was quite shocked! How could someone be so calm after losing a child and then be so rude to the mother! Glad you reported her and you got Matthew back...Only a mother knows how scary it is to lose a child so you must feel 100 times worse than I would.

no gemma yet???

HERE I AM!! :yay: Sorry guys, Ive been trying to get all my uni stuff sorted out- I leave on Friday!!

Good morning everyone!

Just finished opening gifts...made out like a bandit! :thumbsup2

Penny: have a great time! lots of mummy dust!

Tricia: I will definitely take advantage of the glamorous gifts while I can!

Woohooo gotta love gifts!! Is it your birthday today?? Go on...make us jealous! What did you get? Did you get any socks? At birthdays and Christmas I for some reason always get socks!

Yup, it' my Birthday today Gemma! 25 years..ugh :lmao:

Let's see, I got alot of clothes for school....not really fun stuff, but stuff I need for work! A multi gem ring, a Journey pendant made with topaz that goes from light to dark, cash, gift cards, good stuff.

The best thing is that I don't have to go and return any of it! :woohoo: I hate doing that because things don't fit and so on...

Sounds great! Lucky duck. My birthdays not until March but I doubt Ill get much because Ill be in Liverpool so my parents will prabably just put some money in my account to buy myself something. The fun! lol

Since it has been somewhat of a tradition to 'bake' a cake for the birthday person- here is yours from me.

A Disney princess castle cake because you will be the Disney princess on your wedding day!

i met with marcie and her family this morning at six flags.
we got to visit for awhile. it was so nice to meet them in person!

i looked around and was on the cell phone with mr marcie when i saw the lime green tshirt.......got off the phone and walked a couple of feet to wait with them...

i visited with them while waiting for the rope drop and also visited with them while they were in line for superman. i figured they had a family day planned so only stayed a short time with them.

they all look just like they do in their pictures!
such a beautiful family.

i missed meeting up with rose and her family last month. had scheduling issues at home and unable to get away.

Katie - :bday: party: :jumping1:

Gemma - Hope all your university sorting stuff goes well. I am old enough that I got up at the crack of dawn to watch Diana marry Prince Charles. I was also watching when they covered her funeral. :sad1:

Mac - How nice that you got to meet up with Marcie. I know you guys were hoping that would work out.

Penny - :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Only a few more hours! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I just got home from spending the day at Imagine It! (part of the Childrens Museum of Atlanta). The boys had an absolute blast. That place is great for kids my age. In fact, Imagine It! is specifically designed for kids ages 8 and under. I have tons of pictures of the boys having fun (I hope... haven't looked at them yet...), so I'll want to share some of them with you later. We had thought to do the World of Coca-Cola after, but we were all too tired. I still have to clean house and get things together for FILs birthday dinner tomorrow. Yikes. Gonna be a long night. :faint:
