Thank you all for your emotional support about yesterday's bus fiasco
Matthew is doing alot better today and I'm doing better today, too!
He got over it yest after a few minutes, after I picked him up at school.
I just can't stand this school bus company . Always something going on with this bus co. I have had some very moronic bus drivers in the past few yrs., not just this one. I shouldn't call the bus driver moronic, but they think they know your child better than the parent does. I'm a HUGE advocate for my children and safety comes first in my book.
I have a feeling this bus driver is going to be back driving the same route(our route as usual) on Tues. Let's see what happens.....
My kids get free busing b/c they are considered special-ed and special-ed gets free busing in our district. I'm guessing in Illinois in general.

Anyways, we went to our local Fest(walking distance from us) this morning. Did the carnival rides. My kids always enjoys it
Resting up now and then going to church soon.

Gemma - Hope all your university sorting stuff goes well. I am old enough that I got up at the crack of dawn to watch Diana marry Prince Charles. I was also watching when they covered her funeral.

Thank you very much. I just bought a load of stuff tonight off the internet. Still need to book the boat over, buy a new tv and pack! grrrr its so exausting!

Ohh her funeral was sad wasn't it! Harry and William just made you cry! The footage is shown all the time and their sweet innocent faces just make you well up! Of course now Harry is drunk all the time and dressing up in inappropriate outfits!

Im leaving on Friday morning. Im so excited to see my friends again!! Can't wait Im staying in a house. Stayed in halls last year so this year we got a house to rent and its gorgeous!! All brand new. New floors, walls- the lots. Fully furnished with gorgeous furniture. Im just in love with it. We will be the 1st people staying in it. I need to buy a new TV because my old was was so small! It was meant for my daddy's boat but it didn't work so he so kindly gave it to me but it was like 8 inches by 8 inches if even that!

Oh also, does anyone here know who Snow Patrol are?

this is the first year i'm not driving 11 hours taking a kid to school and then back home. i'm excited!!

rose, the free busing for sp ed is by county.
lake only has it in certain school districts. the school has to cover the costs and it depends on that board if free busing is allowed.

yes, i believe it is rose's birthday tomorrow.
still can't find my bd list but i know hers is soon after another homie.


i forgot what else i was going to say. didn't get much sleep last night and tonight doesn't look any better......

Yep they are a band. Well anyway- they are from my little town in Northern Ireland!! They have been quite sucessful so our town are all very proud of them. Well to finish off their tour they had a concert in our big park tonight! Its very exciting for us because we don't have concerts in Bangor- its just a lovely little seaside town. 35000 people went to it and Bangor was packed! The atmosphere was incredible. Best thing that ever happened to our town.

I'd say ROTL...yet, i worry the same thing when the youngest departs (4 more years thankfully) maybe I can bribe him with a junker car & he can be a day student @ Pitt or even Penn State for 2 years, then the main campus

how you gonna keep them down on the farm?
