Do you mean the Orlando Flexitickets?? That;s what we got this year. We got the 14 day 5 park flexiticket. That meant we got 14 days at Seaworld, Universal, IOA, Wet n Wild and Busch Gardens. Or you can get it without Busch Gardens. Im not sure if it's just for overseas though?

LOL I wasn't meaning that I ate too much because I ate barely anything which is why it's strange that Im feeling so ill!! God, I sound like someone with a food problem- Im not! Im totally the opposite.

Gemma...sip on ginger ale...don't "chug", sip...will settle your stomach a bit. You prolly already had a "bug" brewin', and the food just did you in....

I've just be informed by DH that our Universal vacation music video is almost done....(he's just taking out a scene that looks like I'm yelling at him, but wasn't :confused3 ) Will post it when he's done! :thumbsup2

And Jodie...PRELL??? Uh...no! That and Pert are the absolute two worst shampoos you can use on your hair. In the industry, we have a joke that "Pert" and "Prell" are good for cleaning floors.... What's that tell you?? Tell Mike to switch shampoos, or one day he may not have to worry about shampooing anything at all. Prell (& it's evil cousin Pert) basically have really harsh agents/ingredients in them that strip hair ....and color....which is probably why Jodie was lookin' to use it after color..it just helps to strip the loose color particles from the hair, lightening it a bit. And Jodie, if you're coloring your hair, you need a moisturizing shampoo and leave in conditioner. ;) (Have a wonderful weekend...again!

Thanks for the info on Prell. I did not realize it was that strong. I pay an arm and a leg to have my hair foiled, I sure don't want to strip that color out!
Can I ask for some hair advice?
I usually dry my thick curly/wavy hair with a diffuser, but when I go to my stylist he likes to use the regular blow dryer and a brush and straighten it out a bit.
Each individual hair comes out looking all small and shiney. :goodvibes How come when I try it at home I end up with a pouffy mess thats all frizzy? :confused3

Okay, so by now you have probably figured out my profession :rolleyes1

Your stylist is probably putting a styling product in your hair before she is drying it....some kind of "defrizzing" product AND a mousse or gel or something like that. With thick curly/wavy hair, you tend to get the frizzies (because most natural wavy/curly hair is coarse), but add that you color, and it makes it worse. You need to use a moisturizing shampoo (professional is best, but if you MUST OTC, Nexxus is now OTC and try the Tresseme...I'm not real familiar with too many OTC brands because I stick to the professional stuff), leave in conditioner (for moisture, protection from heat of dryer and "weight" to keep the flyaways down), defrizzing agent and styling product (to keep the hairs "together" since coarse hair tends to fly all over the place and not stay "together"). I know it seems like a lot, but I can almost guarantee it's what your stylist is using. All you have to do is ask her what she is using (they most likely sell the same stuff they use)...I'm surprised she isn't trying to "sell" it to you by using and explaining it all to you. Hope that helps clear things up a bit for you.

Tricia.... good job not leaving Mom in the store....(glad your husband "caved" :rolleyes1 )

Oh, I shouldn't complain about Mom... really... I shouldn't...:rolleyes1

BUT, have you ever seen a Mama Duck herding her ducklings? Running along behind them... quacking irritatedly... pecking at their butts to get them moving. That is what shopping with my mother is like, but I'm the Mama Duck and she is the duckling. I have a 36 pound 2 year old to hang on to, but my biggest problem is keeping up with the (almost) 76 year old.

Okay, vent over.

Should I tell Brad the the slight bald spot he is developing on the back of his head is due to years and years of Pert Plus usage?

Prell is an oldie but goodie...but how about "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific"...or "Short and Sassy" with Dorothy Hamill as the spokesperson? :lmao:

He's already selling me all that stuff. I use either matrix curl.life or biolage. It's got to be something in the way he dries it. Experience I guess! I love the way he cuts my hair, but its like he does'nt want to give out the secrets of making it look good. :rolleyes1 Think I'll just stick with curly!

Matrix is a good line...I use some of it. Remember it's easier to dry/style hair with 2 hands in front of you, vs. behind you  ....it's odd he doesn't "help" you make it look as good....that's just dumb :confused3 imho .....can't understand why he wouldn't "show" you how to wear it like you like it best?

What was the one with beer in it? Tap or something like that? I just remember the girl on the commercial doing the giggling line that "Shhhh... it has beer, *pause for dramatic finger wag* but don't drink it."

Happy Friday!

I'm off to make a PB&J for Joshua's lunch. I'll be back later.
