Nice that you get some extra family time, but sorry about the circumstances.
Happy anniversary!
I’m concerned about the price. Maybe we can do one or two nights there just to see what it’s like. I’ll probably book a room at one of the new budget hotels sometime in the future. They look cute.
This recently showed up on my Facebook. Cute, but more than I want to spend on Crocs.

The budget hotels do look really nice too, and from the outside too, they`ve done a very good job on all three hotels.
Oh lordy no to those crocs!!! Maybe for a child, but not an adult!! And yes, I don`t think crocs are as good as they once were for comfort, last pair I ordered, same size as before, but they were so tight, no use really.
Another quick stop in.
I went for a walk on my morning break. It was still chilly - but the sun was shining so I soaked up all the vitamin D I could get.
Still have our weekly booking meeting. As tedious as it is - it definitely helps to keep all the moving parts of unit in order - to know tentatively ahead of time which pt is going where. If that makes sense. Other than that - only monotonous tasks to complete.
I would love the opportunity to be part of a book club one day. Right now - unless it was in the evenings - it wouldn't work for me. I think it would be interesting to hear how other people interpret the same story.
Those are cute. I could see myself rolling an ankle and being unable to walk for the rest of the day. I'm just that graceful![]()
I loved our book groups, but when we opened it up to more people it just got complicated and not fun anymore, so we pass on it now. But, I think if you get a good group of people, they are priceless. Ours were usually in the evening, but sometimes during the day too. My closest friends that were in it want to start back up again, but we would need more folks otherwise it`s just us which might feel like a usual get together.
It is good to hear interpretations of a book you might not have considered for sure and I did enjoy reading books I might never have thought of reading had it not been suggested in our group.
Have a lovely weekend Pumpkin
hey all
The mr reminded me that I needed to replace my “dress” boots. I was so sad I had to put pair out to pasture, so comfy. Would you believe I took a Quick Look today while waiting in reception for my annual Mammo & found most of those I liked were already sold out in my size/color. What the heck! It’s August.
Had a message from my dr’s office. One of my kiddos was talking to the nurse on phone re setting up a test. He mentioned our trip. She asked where, yadda yadda. Didn’t I get a message reminding me “to both pack and wear” compression knee highs. I’ll call that the personal touch lol. from the “waddling”/race training, know they do feel great, even tho so dorky looking. I’m told they are trendy, um yeah, sure they are.
Robbie hope your DS is doing well, best wishes for a speedy recovery. He’s lucky to have mom actually know what’s she’s doing to treat him (vs the majority of the rest of us who make it up as we go lol)
Thot of you today, made the mistake of stopping @ big lots. A little ghoul called to me to use my $10 coupon (that was burning a hole in my pocket) to adopt him.

Tomorrow will be the last GD fun day before school starts…i was wrong on the date, not until the 28th in their district. Seems quite late. Here, it began nearly 2 weeks ago.
Rumored, at the very least, they need to drastically reorganize, whether thru bankruptcy or a sale. However, that was deemed antitrust issue earlier this year
Oh no, a math problem after 9 pm, my brain has just shut down completely lol
Sounds like a nice day!
Of course he does
I noticed early entry, nothing about EP in the new park
Good to have family in times like these. Nice of you to put them up.
Just say no to heels on crocs. Otherwise, cute theme there. I’ve quit on them, too many blisters; Sox or not.
Lordy yes, things sell out so quickly now!! I haven`t glanced at winter boots yet, had planned to wait till October, but think I might need to get a wiggle on!! Hope you find something you like though, new boots are a delight to have for winter!
Kyle runs in compression socks for longer races too, yes, not pretty but as so many do wear them for running they don`t look odd at all. But I don`t think they`ll ever morph into general fashion lol....but how considerate of them to call and leave a message like that, not something you hear of often.
I doubt I`ll ever buy our "fancy" crocs again, they are just so tight, even trying the dryer trick, still not as comfy as the older ones, shame as they were ideal.
My brother was laughing at me last night on the phone, I told him about this great new show on Disney+ with Martin Short called Only Murders in the Building....lol....yep, he laughed and said it had been out for ages, I said well, it`s new to us

Your trip is almost here!!!
I absolutely hate when I get a phone glitch and spend hours trying to figure it out.
Went to T-mobile and whatever the employee helped me with still ended up to have a technical issue.
Their advice was buy a new phone as this one is about to bite the dust.
I am starting to believe they may be right as it is 8 years old now.
The T-mobile store that I use is a short 5 minutes from my house.
My only decision now is what colors they have in stock.
lol....it`s served you well mac!!!
Pick a nice colour though, all important and my first question when Tom tells me it`s time to get a new phone!! I am never fond of new phones as I hate getting to grips with new ones!
See you all in the morning…
I`m here......

Well, what a morning!!! Not in the least bit cold but we have around 50mph winds here, just had a torrential downpour and it is so dark there is surely more rain on the way. So my plans have altered for going to get Tom some bits and bobs for his birthday, I`ll either go this afternoon if it clears some, or wait till tomorrow after my podiatrist appt, new orthotic time again.
But, no plans to go out in this weather, should be down to about 20mph winds by lunchtime but sunny at least.
So, Tom went back to sleep, when he finally gets up and has his shower, I`ll get my poached egg on toast, tea for now will do. My goodness this rain is incredible! No need to worry about the plants and lawns getting water.
Apart from some little things I need to get, no plans today, tomorrow will be a bit busier and looking forward to dinner out tomorrow night, we love the place we are going to and happy we got a reservation. I do hope they have oysters again as one of their specials!
Have a lovely Friday
