Well drivers on I95 aren’t. Will have to either go over to NJ or through the city to get around the I95 collapsed bridge.
I saw that on the news. It looks like things will be complicated for awhile for everyone that used I95 to commute.

Busy spell here, have the grand for a few days. they tend to go much faster with her about as she has the day rather fully planned, after we are done running to AM sports camps. probably should check the gas gauge, don’t think my fill from a week up will last two weeks this time.
Those little ones can keep you on your toes. Enjoy your time with your granddaughter. She is adorable.

This is a stress brain. It’s getting quite a workout today. Can you guess what I’m doing?
You are back at work trying to fix everything they messed up while you were gone.

We had a great weekend, with dd, gd and then visiting with dh's family. The weather was fantastic - minus the smoke and ash that covered everything. It was a busy weekend - and I was tuckered out by Sunday night.
So good to hear you had a nice weekend with all the family. Especially your little granddaughter.

Still in Ocala and it’s hot here.
Now I am trying to sell my inherited house and cars
Mac saw it is in the 90’s In Florida. I hope all goes well and you get the house and cars sold.

The real fun for me will be September
Real vacation time then.
Hopefully Universal will release some more information on the Houses for HHN. I will look and see what merch they have in the Five & Dime when I go to Universal the end of the month.

I know you look forward to your vacation in September.

Hope all the homies are doing fine!
Things are moving along here fine. I hope your health is good.

And so, a wish to all, a most wonderful Wednesday today. And a very good morning too.
You Have a wonderful Wednesday too Lynne.

why do most of the peeps disappear after i post

is it my breath….lol
i love disney and like the parks
Mac no breath issues….LOL.….It is nice to be in the Park bubble for sure. It is awesome to escape life for a short time and be a kid again.

I see that Carole has been missing for a few days. Hope all is well across the pond.

Shout out to all our Sans family that does not post anymore. Tink, Patty and many more.

It is a quiet start to the morning here. Sun is shining and it is 68 degrees. High today is supposed to be 85. Possible a thunder storm later this evening.

I’am going to make a trip down to the cemetery in Kentucky where my mom and her family are buried. I always take a look to see if there is any other work that needs to be done around the graves. The cemetery does a good job of keeping things up, but sometimes additional weed eating needs to be done.

I’am also going to give my moms twin sister a call and see how she is doing. She is the only one left of all her sisters and brother. I will try and see if she is feeling up to a visit and stop by and see her on the way home.

I did get out yesterday and found the baby back ribs needed for the Father‘s Day celebration for hubby on Saturday. Our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be here to celebrate Him.

I‘am looking forward to seeing the family all together. This celebration has been in the works for a couple months. Decided to have it on Saturday so that everyone could celebrate their day as dads at home with their families on Sunday.

Some pics of HHN past to keep everyone here stoked for celebrating Halloween in September and October at Universal.

It’s really been a hot day
I’m ready to go back to GA

Not a fan of the non stop traffic where we are
Did not realize that Ocala had huge amounts of traffic from morning to night.

People are extremely nice here and very helpful to us for the documents we are working on.

Found out today we most likely will have at least 3-4 trips more to finalize what next steps we need to do.

Anyone looking for moving to horse country, give me a holler
It’s beautiful country land on a horse farm

I rather lean to cat country not horse farms

Was temped to take two beautiful cats back to our hotel room and have them make their home with me

I’ll keep it a secret from mr mac as have not told him we really do need to become a larger cat family
I thought that 4 cats would be more fun than 6 in the house
he would learn to love them eventually or until the divorce was signed,,,,,
ring me if you want a cute baby kitten

Aw Mac, sounds like a nice area, but I’m looking for the beach. Though, have to say, that part of FLA is very pretty with farms still in the area. Hehe, Mac becoming a more than two cat lady. Yeah, settling an estate takes awhile. Going through it now too, but the house we have is in a very good suburban school district. Anyone want to move near me? Hope both homes sell fast and for good amounts.

Yeah, I hate insurance issues, and glad you finally resolved one so old, yesterday, Charade. At least week is flying by.

Ah, that rainy day is doing that every other day. So since we had a very little amount of rain yesterday, beautiful full day of sun today, and a soaking kinda rain predicted for Friday. Like an inch and a half. Da da da wipeout.

Eh, lady of leisure Friday. Won’t need to do much, though do plan to do some errands, as on a week day, the crowds at some places are not as big as on a weekend day. Hence, will most likely be wet weather when doing those errands. Though yay, today is that glorious sunshine and warm. Unlike the house. Remarked was too cool feeling last night. Got s shrug from older one. He even has his fan on, still. Whatever. Blanket on my bed never gets removed.

So lunchtime walk gets those shades on. And with all that warm sunshine, yep, will have on suntan lotion and a hat. No red on me, as may even get enough for being so, as out enough on my walk.

Bjt up that early bird for week day routine. Some meetings, so hope my day goes fast. And yay, cardinal is shooting lasers to the neighbors. He’s an early bird too. Been hearing him since around 4:30 this morning.

And be thirsty, as yay we get a mid 80 ‘s the high temp this afternoon. Sweet, Summer may be coming soon, like next week. Yay, time for those summer clothes. Shorts, t shirts and flip flops. Yay!

So quench that thirst today, as a Thirsty Thursday here. Enjoy a beverage of your choice, to salute the fact that every Thursday is followed by a Friday.

Hehe, alarm turned off. Have a most terrific Thirsty Thursday all. And that most beautiful morning too.

Ooh Mac, be careful. Saw in news, guy owning a house in Ocala, went on an extended trip, and came back to a squatter saying house was his, but he was not the real owner. Police got involved. Finally squatter was arrested, but guy had a gun that helped the squatter to vacate. Stupid squatter called police arguing house was his and vacant for over 3 years. Owner was gone 7 months. Scary.

Lunchtime walk was quite lovely and ended with some iced coffee. Few more hours and done for the week day routine. Woot!

Hope all are doing well. Older one is well aware of game Last of Us. I’m not. Stopped paying attention to both kids’ online gaming after they turned 16. But I do sometimes ask and see what they are playing. Should be a good HHN house. Now, frequent fear tickets? Scare them up soon, please.

Ugh…squatters would be a disaster for me

Mr Mac had to mow the lawn today but we have a rider mower
Took 2 hours and 45 minutes…so we ended up staying another night at the hotel instead of leaving for home today

Good evening everyone. Nothing much going on today. I think tomorrow B and I will do some shopping. She needs to get her dad something for Father’s Day, I want to look for some new shirts, and we both want to get some sort of display board for all of the buttons we picked up last week.

IMG_9333.jpeg

Caspian got a new carrier today. If he was going to the vet he would run away from it, but tonight we have this:

IMG_9332.jpeg

We had a backyard visitor today.

IMG_9331.jpeg

And then I saw 4 rabbits chasing each other around my neighbor’s yard. So cute.

Quiet night tonight.

Hehe, cats just can’t stop going into bag or box. Yep, Father’s Day weekend.

Quiet night here too, Charade.

Sipping tea and almost ready for bed. Was yawning all evening, even though I thought I had a good night sleep last night.

Ah, rainy Friday in store for us. Stormy one as said by evening news. Will see when I get up, how early it will start. Saying starting around lunchtime as of that evening weather news. Hence, may do my errands in the early morning.

Have a good night all.

Thanks Mac.

So far this morning, I took a long and nice hot shower. Then started some wash. Getting ready to go do some errands before the rain cones. So nice to be lazy on a week day.

Most fabulous Friday all, and have a wonderful weekend, in one where I’m celebrating my one brother’s birthday, and Father’s Day the next. Wonderful weekend for me. Yay!

Ooh let the storms arrive later today. Phone keeps flashing severe weather conditions in next 24 hours. With the rain coming, very overcast right now. And with the rain, the high is 75. Hmm, maybe I’ll change from my shorts to my lightweight pants before I go out again. It is 64 out and a little humid. Yeah water will surely be in the air soon enough. Rainy day in store for us. But the weather gets a pass. Crappy weather Friday gives wall to wall full sunny days for the weekend. Should see if pool is 90 degrees for Father’s Say. Pool time weekend? Hope so.

Gotta go. Good morning.

got so frustrated with someone at Anthem today. I should not have to repeat myself several times and try to explain a simple concept several times.
youngest DS says he just cringes when he sends a referral request from his sales team over to intake with Anthem insurance involved. Says it’s rather infamous, in all regards
did get out yesterday and found the baby back ribs needed for the Father‘s Day celebration for hubby on Saturday. Our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be here to celebrate Him.
Yea! I picked up tbones on sale yesterday…$106 later (ouch)
thought that 4 cats would be more fun than 6 in the house
At most had three at once. We have zoning ordinances here re number of pets, both indoor and out
Finally squatter was arrested, but guy had a gun that helped the squatter to vacate. Stupid squatter called police arguing house was his and vacant for over 3 years. Owner was gone 7 months. Scar
Sadly, as I understand it, depends on the state laws if police will step in immediately on squatters once the owner discovers them. SMH From what I’ve read, Arizona & CA have real issues with this, squatters ‘rights’ :bitelip:
Hehe, cats just can’t stop going into bag or box
If I could find a big enough one, there are times Id hide in one too

Mac - Safe ride home. You missed some wicked storms rolling thru at least

Picked up the sickie kid from his most recent 5 day hospital stay. Been a stressful week. Another bad infection, not sure how it arose as various new issues found, supposedly good now. Lots of specialist appts to work on the underlying new issues. It’s doable. That’s all that matters, just needs a bigger buffet plate to juggle them all

Hospital was a block from urban store with fancy butcher shop. I had the bright idea to multi-task & grab the aforementioned steaks. He came in with me to grab a sports drink. Go out to car, hands full and it wouldn’t start Meanwhile in 80s & sunny standing on blacktop.

Called the mr first, half hour away, said to let him look before calling AAA. Traffic turned that into an hour.

Was battery, he tried both big portable charger & direct jump from his truck. Click click. Worst sound

Rush hour traffic, AAA driver didn’t show up for 2 hours, hr later than promised. >:( Did replace the terminals too. Driver offered to buy my car if I decide to sell, old but low mile & pristine. Always nice to be asked

Glad my kiddo had the sense to take meat back into store and then to refrigerate it for us.

Boy, was I ever glad to finally get home. DS doing well, took off for a walk. If it stops drizzling, I’ll take one myself. My new go to to clear my noggin. Endorphins u know. Lol

Great news here for many in the community

Wow, as was driving to that huge mall, radio and both little one and my phone buzzed with tornado warning. Scary, we didn’t know if we should get off the highway or not. We decided to travel through the red weather radar blob and safely got to the mall, which has nice, large parking garages. By the time we left, more blue skies seen. Line of nasty storms was traveling at 60 mph. Winds were 70 mph and while rotation seen by radar, never fully formed. So happy neither house nor roads were a problem, though did drive around a fallen electrical wire.

Ack, Keisha, sorry to hear son not feeling well. Infections can really be not good. Sending good thoughts and well wishes mummy dust his way. Good he is off for a week. Needs his body to recover. Ack to car battery issue. Had that enough times to be seasoned, but luckily could be jumped every time and not turn off car until got to auto store. Glad meat was not a collateral damage problem. But oooh the price of that meat.

So sunny out now. Though feels cooler, so will switch to pants when we decide to walk through our little town in about an hour. Then grab some fresh made gelato from the little store on the way home.

They lingered here last night. Wasnt supposed to have remnants of that band of storms here today. Not quite

Mr ran my DS back down to hospital
To pick up charging cord he left behind

On way back, on highway, out of nowhere a heavy storm cropped up. Couldn’t safely pull off, they just went slowly with flow of traffic. Turns out not slow enough

Hit a large puddle of runoff & wound up bouncing off cement Jersey barrier.

Thank God the mr is ‘a pro’, seeing lots of crazy stuff years ago when driving steel coils between employer’s nearby plants

Had to call state police as they wound up facing wrong way & couldn’t merge into the heavy traffic safely.

Truck was able to get turned around & limp home once the trooper stopped traffic to one lane.

Reported to ins co. Rather unhelpful. Will take to our body garage Monday for processing, as receptionist told me everyone was out of office early till Tuesday due to holiday.

Ah, yes, Juneteenth. No idea it was National one now.

Least the boys are just shook up & bit sore, could’ve been far worse. Thank you to their guardian angels

I can’t wait to put this week to bed :bitelip:

Scary and glad no one hurt, Keisha. That is awful that DH’s truck got damaged. Hope it gets repaired quick. Car insurance can be a pain to deal with. And yeah there was times the highway was flooded as we made our way. And why some cars, and even some trucks, did not have their lights on, was not nice and not legal, when visibility from the downpours was clearly not that good.

But have to say, my little one is a very good driver, and for some reason, has drove in the most torrential rain on the highways more than a few times. Over the years, I’ve had three bad weather drives that scared the …. out of me. But thankfully, car and me was safe each time.

And to think, our state is still in a drought. I guess we have had not a very wet Spring.

Finally weather news at dinner time said the next week’s weather is cooler than average, more like early Spring temps. And Summer arrives Wednesday next week. Little one sarcastically says and climate change is not real.

With that, the gelato, salted caramel, was delicious. In our freezer, is a container with hand vanilla and half coffee flavored. Yep, the small business gelato place is so good, even just vanilla is delicious, and little one says the coffee flavor is one of her favorite. So that was our appetizer. We were not that hungry, so soup and crackers was our dinner. Older one will have to decide if he wants the leftover soup or make something else when he gets home.

Ah, time for tea and the puzzle that the slight changes in greens makes me work in it some, then take a break before trying it some more. It’s almost done, and will promptly be boxed up after I complete it, for my sister to do. I like to share the hard puzzles. LoL

Terribly behind! its been busy here between birthdays, anniversaries, and upcoming surgery. Today was 2 phone calls from hospital pre admissions then anesthesia. Totaling 2 hrs on phone.
last weekend a couple of girlfriends decided I needed a diversion and took me camping lol!
I got my surgery date, June 28th. Yay. Will be soon. The best thing is Surgeon says I won’t need Chemo! Probably Radiation but I can deal with that.

This weekend we’re out both Saturday and Sunday for dinners.

Keisha :scared: wow how terrifying. I’m so glad everyone is ok.

I’m pretty confident my August Universal trip will be a go! Last night changed RPH to CL!

Cable company came out and replaced all the equipment. So far so good! TGIF everyone.

Yay! Glad to hear surgery is scheduled, and no chemo, Sue. I wish you much success with the surgery and hope the radiation treatment is not too bad. Was nice you got away with friends. And yay, a change to club level for your August trip. We are standard at RPR this August. Not sure your dates, but can see if our dates match up via PM.

Ah local news said NJ did get that tornado, and scary, house very near ours, got struck by lightning and had windows blown out. Another house closer to where that huge mall is, also got struck by lightning, and started a fire, burning roof and second floor, with water damage on first floor from putting out the fire. Glad our home did not get hit. We do have a lightning rod on our chimney top.

Older one home. Found our leftover steak stromboli piece. Nuke or quick fry it, and good enough for him. Wasn’t interested in the soup.

Ooh older one saw in an ad that Costco had an item he wants. Guess we will do s Costco run tomorrow.

Yeah and,

IMG_1655.jpeg

Hehe. Screen and then ready for bed. I actually slept later today than I have done in a long time. Will see how I do tomorrow.

Sue - That is very encouraging news for you!!! Will say, you are sounding very brave to me. Have often wondered if going thru that sort of thing makes it any better knowing what to expect as to protocols. Regardless, you’ve got this! here’s to 🍸enjoying clubbing it in August!

Ah, storm is gone and a most glorious sunshine start to this Saturday. Sunshine has been pouring through my windows since not much after sunrise. Though cooler, as 78 degrees the high. Though my shorts will be on. When I changed to pants yesterday for our walk, I was sweating, so shorts it is today. And hey, at least while we keep our AC on, our thermostat is set, so I haven’t heard it much the last couple of days.

And so, lazy weekend is so appreciated. And that’s ours today. And I know my one brother is up early enough, will call him to sing happy birthday to him. Then, I’d like a kid with me on my Costco run, so thinking closer to lunchtime for that. At least we all enjoy their pizza from their fast food area, and cheap lunch if either does come with me, and we are both hungry.

And so, from this early bird, drinking hot tea, in a quiet enough house, trying to find something interesting on our biggest tv, to provide background noise as I try to finish that puzzle. And wait for the brownies I put in the oven, and put the timer on not only on the oven, but my phone too. While the alarm on the oven is loud, sometimes it only sounds once. And if I’m not paying attention to listen for it, no burnt brownies for me, as my phone sounds just as loud, and gets my attention more likely.

It’s such a nice morning. Hope all have a super wonderful weekend, and a most peaceful and perfect Saturday today.
