Someone Stole our Mickey Antenna Ears!

I can't believe it! Someone actually stole our Mickey German Flag Antenna Ears off of our minivan! We went to visit my parents over the weekend. My dad and husband wanted to go to Six Flags in Gurnee, IL on Saturday; so we went for the day. When we got back to our van our mouse ear atenna ball was gone! It just makes me mad! We'll be going back in November and we'll get some new ones! Learned a lesson the hard way. Take it off if you don't want it stolen! Shame on who ever took it!

in july we brought a mickey one home for my car, a US flag one for DW car and a minnie one for DD car and i have been worried to death about someone scarfing one or all of them up ever since

I'm sorry. I've had mine on for 3 years and been up and down the east coast several times with it. I hear so many people saying theirs was stolen, guess I've been lucky.

I am sorry for your loss.....I really hate to hear of antenna topper thefts..right now, I am sporting our Disney Magic Cruise Line antenna topper right here in NYC..been on for about 3 weeks and no problem..in fact we have been sporting antenna toppers for about 2 years in Manhattan, New York without any problem whatsoever..No one touches my antenna topper..but I do get a lot of compliments......maybe New York City is really the best place to live afterall!!!!!!

Sorry for your loss...
We've lost three.......first time was Minnie topper and instead of taking just the topper, they broke off the entire antenna

Then the MGM hat topper, and finally lost the orange hallowe'en one last October!
Oh well......I hope they are making the "takers" happy.....I guess in a small way I'm Disneying-it-forward!

sorry for your loss, we had our stars and stripes Mickey stolen at the Dodge dealer when our car was in for repairs.. Why would anyone want to steal an antenna topper???

We had our Goofy stolen from our car. When we got back to the airport from WDW, it was gone. The real kicker is they took the antenae also. I wasnt very happy.

That's a true bummer. I've been really lucky--I've had my WDW Mickey ears since January 2004 and it hasn't left me yet!! If it does, though, I have back ups!!!

My stars and stripes Mickey topper was stolen last week also. (along with my lime green ribbon streamer) Only had it on since June. I don't think our Disney store sells them, since I have looked for them in the past. Just have to keep looking at other stores. I do have a Minne replacement, that I put on last night though.

I think they pay them to take them at Six Flags (BG). My first Walt Disney World Mickey was on for a long time when I went through the Six Flags Great Adventure Safari (Duh). As soon as we got to the baboon section, one imediately jumped on the car and started working on it, bit off one ear and then got the whole thing. I was left with nothing. I think I have had two more taken in the parking lot since then. My new car has an automatic antenna so no more toppers for me.

We live near St. Louis, MO and have never had a problem with our antenna topper! Believe me it has been all over the St. Louis Metro area and beyond. It's been through the car wash even with no problems!

I imagine at Six Flags they were less than thrilled to see the Mouse Ears proudly perched on top of our atenna. Since we have a Six Flags not too far from us; I will make sure that we remove our Mouse Ears before ever going!

Will be going back the week of and after Thanksgiving to get our replacements! Anyone else that needs their antenna replaced due to theft but can't get one themselves let me know!

I write our last name on the side of the topper and so far so good .. I have a plain orange one with our name and the dates for our upcoming trip so we can find the rental car easier (and i have a spare just in case ! ) Michelle

We were given a "Jack" antenna ball about a year ago. From the beginning my family and I were taking bets on how long it would take to be stolen. Amazingly enough it is still proudly sitting atop our antenna. Since its not really that special to me I wouldn't care if anyone took it, but I can understand you being upset since yours was special to you.

The antenna topper can be replaced! It is the fact that it was stolen off of our minivan that makes me so mad! I don't know what makes people think it is okay to steal someone elses property! Stealing is wrong! While this was just a petty crime; it is still a crime none the less! How much I paid for it or how big or little the item shouldn't matter. It was wrong for someone else to take it!

Sorry! I didn't mean to give a lecture here! Stepping off my high horse now!
