Someone Stole our Mickey Antenna Ears!

Ok I was going to purchase a topper when I go this trip. HMMM
Is there a way to superglue it on?? My antenna is removable for the weekly bath. And I dont really want my name out where everyone can see it.

Ok now what about the License plate cover, do they steal those too??

Maybe I better get a few toppers and covers.

I would be really upset if someone took mine.

I have had several toppers, but only one kind has been stolen: the stars and stripes Mickey. We've lost two of those--one at the zoo! Can you imagine some dad grabbing my antenna topper--what a good example on a family day at the zoo.
Perhaps the thieves here are patriotic.
My DCL Mickey, pirate Mickey and soccer Mickey are all fine and dandy.

Mine was "recovered" today. It was apparently taken from my car at work and tossed under another car. The building manager found it and knew it was mine.

It is bad enough that someone would take my Mickey to keep it, but even worse to think how mean someone was to take it and toss it. But I am happy to have the little guy back!

Congrats on getting your topper back! The nerve of some people! I suppose they figured you would recognize it; and changed their minds! They could have at least put it back on your car!

Superglue won't stop them if they really want it they will probably just take the whole antenna! Some have actually had them damaged by these mouse knapping thieves! Don't let this stop you from getting one. If you're concerned buy a spare just in case!

We have had quite a few antena toppers taken here too-but the current one has lasted almost a month! It's the longest lasting one yet.(Red White and Blue) I really hate it when they steal them- why don't they just buy their own?!

I think stealing a Mickey topper must be some special 'rite of passage' for jerks because ours was stolen too. I read somewhere that super glue deters that, but I also read about all the antenna thefts in this thread-which, with my luck, is what would happen to me if I tried it. Sorry you lost yours. (but I'm glad you aren't "invisible" anymore!)

Ours was stolen too, years ago. When we bought the replacement, DH decided not to put it on the car. It is on "display" inside on a shelf.
My tag also commemorates the theft.

Had a minnie one for months, prbably over a yr with no problem.
Took it off and replaced it with a Mike (Monster's Inc). It was gone in a few days. It was stolen a a High School about 40 miles away when DS was in a wrestling tournamant.
Put minnie back on nad she was gone wihtin a week. I think she was taken at Walmart.

For over a yr I've had a pink Mickey topper. It dissapeared for a while, but was found tossed in the bushes at Karate. I really don't think anyone at Karate did it. There was a chiropractors office next door, and they didn't like the fact that our studio took up a lot of parking places in the parking lot.

So far, knock on wood, my toppers have stayed in place. Sorry to hear of the topper knapping going on. Maybe it is topper jelously or topper envy! lol

I was at the mall one day and when I walked out to my Jeep, what do I see? Some woman holding her little girl up and the little girl is reaching for my mickey topper (at the time it was the minnie mouse one)...as I walked up, the woman must have noticed me, cause she took a step back and said that she was just letting her daughter look at it. After reading about how so many get stolen, it really makes me wonder if I'd been five minutes later, if they would have been looking at it....on their car?

Mine is still going strong after a year.

Heres a tip...put a dab of silicone in it before you put it on, then let it dry for a few hours. Its worked great for me.

It is looking a little worn and we meant to get a new one this year but forgot..looks like we'll have to plan another trip.

On a positive note....my Jeep was parked at Port Canveral during Hurricane Frances...and while the vehicle was really dirty from the storm...my little mickey topper hung on tight!!!

Just last weekend I was the The Disney Store and they had their Mickey stars and stripes antenna topper on clearance for 99 cents!!!

I snagged one, even though my car's antenna kinda lays across the car roof so I can't put it on. I put it on my desk instead.

Dang! I should have snagged all of them and sent them out to all of you who had yours ripped off!
