Somehow logged in during site maintenance, all my points gone

I just realized that I may not be able to reproduce the issue with my AKV reservation because my AKV points are direct...
I have issues and my points are direct
 
Well at least now we know that they didn’t manage to fix whatever issues we are having by the 18th.
If they are still aiming for April 18th then we are in for a long wait 🙈
 
I thought for sure they would have at least attempted to fix this by now. My 11m window is coming up soon and hoping for the best🤷🏼‍♀️
I assume that since we haven’t seen a notification about an upcoming maintenance window it’s because DVC either doesn’t know what the error is or they do know but they don’t know how wide spread it is.
 
I was able to get my room back starting today but can’t modify it yet again (I tried modifying to the same dates to test). I tried booking the same room on another date with my other AKV membership and just get the dwarves for the final page.

Do you need to walk your reservation? Then maybe MS can help with the assistance from their support team.

Yep but only for a week or so, if at all (I am checking the released flight prices daily and the dates depend on that). But they can’t figure out how to restore being able to see the existing reservation points to that account and it’s infuriating.

You and me both. I assume they are not trying to fix single accounts but all in one go, when they found the problem that is.

I would never assume that. Last year (or maybe two years ago) somehow thousands of accounts got marked as delinquent for dues that weren’t and they had to fix them one by one.

Fair enough but I would assume not every single impacted member (several thousands) would had to call in to get the issue resolved?
 
Has anyone modified the people/ names on their reservations since this glitch? I’m wondering if it’s a bad time but I really need to do it for our Aulani trip.
 
I just did a very unscientific test with my AKV contract which is experiencing the points/booking issue.

If I try to modify a reservation which is for the 11 month window the system can’t see my points - if I try to change the dates to something during the 7 months window the system can see my points perfectly fine.

It seems to be contract dependent. I have modified a RIV res today at the 11 month mark no issues. It is a direct contract.

As I’ve previously posted, this smells like a botched attempt to limit walking.

I wonder if there is anyone here who has a BWV res they could try and modify?

I have a BWV contract and it works fine at the 11 month window.

Don’t think this is related to walking - if it were DVC would have to notify us first, as walking is not against the rules.

@pangyal can you try and modify your reservation to something random within the 7 month window. You don’t need to complete it just stop and check the contract selection.
 
It's concerning that it looks like the system would potentially allow me to borrow from a contract that is no longer mine (a contract I already sold). Note I would never do that, but I think this could end up a real mess if they aren't quick to fix this.
