Thanks PhD. I saw that menu, but then someone told me they thought it had changed to the now 'standard' kid's menu offerings. My kids all love burgers, hot dogs and grilled cheese, and would be happy with any of those choices with fruit or fries. I think we are going to use a TS credit for it, because DH and I will be out of credits, but the boys will still have one. Dh and I can split a big burger and onion rings and just pay OOP while the boys use their credit.

Sounds like a plan. When in March will you be there? DH and I will be there March 5th to the 8th. Just the 2 of us. Your adult only trip you talked about last year inspired us and we are really doing it! No worrying about kids menus this trip. We are eating at Spoodles, Chiefs De France and the sit down place at Japan (I forget the name.) All places we have never ate at before. We are staying at BWV (1st time for that too.)

My DS6 has just been diagnosed with oral allergies, the poor thing isn't supposed to eat raw fruits or vegs. In reality he is probably okay with most but the ones we have been told to avoid especially are apples, carrots and cantaloupe. Isn't it typical that is what the kids meals all seem to have with them?

My kid's body is rebelling against being healthy! Luckily he doesn't have any life threatening issues, just his poor lips swell up like he's had bad collagen/botox. I guess I'll mention that when making ADR's and again at the restaurant. I'm glad to hear that they may be softening with the substitutions. I think I may just have to resign myself to the fact that I probably wont get my money's worth out of the kids dining plan.

And either Beaches and Cream or 50s Prime Time. Can't decide now based solely on time. ( I don't think we could get to B and C before it gets crowded). My parents are coming too, and they are babysitting on our two date nights at the nicer restaurants.

Beaches and cream is fun, but it is much more a relaxed no big deal meal. You can get more of a variety at 50's and the experience is fun too. The prices at 50's are high then beaches if you are paying for that one out of pocket. I guess it would depend for me on where you were that day. If you are at MGM 50's might be easier. You can take the bought to Y&B for beaches and cream though. If you are going over to Epcot after you can just walk over. I don't know if I would take the trip all the way over to Y&B for it though, if you were going back to MGM after.

Very cool, sounds like great fun. We did HDDR last trip in Jan with the kids and they loved it. We video taped most of it and the kids watch it all the time now. The food was ok, not great, but the show was really good. I was surprised they had busses to the resorts home after so we didn't have to go back to DTD and then catch another bus to the resort.

I wasn't diagnosed with oral allergies until I was 21. They started right after we got married and moved to Georgia. The first time I ate an apple when we moved there my mouth/lips swelled and felt scratchy. I thought it might have to do something with how the apple was processed, but that's not the case. Several years later when I was pregnant with my first, the same thing happened with bananas. Now after having my second daughter, I am latex allergic, among a whole host of other things. If your son is having oral allergies to apples, you might also want to avoid pears. It's funny, I can eated cooked apples (the proteins that cause the reaction denature upon cooking and therefore have no effect when cooked), but sadly the last time I tried a raw apple was over 5 years ago and it's definitely a food I have to avoid. Here's hoping you can find some kids meal items without the dreaded apple slices!

Is steak still an option at Le'Cellier for kids? I know it used to be something like $2.00 more. I noticed on one of the menu sites that is was not there period? Is that correct?

When we were there in February it was still on the menu. I don't think they've made any changes since then so you should be fine.

Anyone know what the kid picks are at Cosmic Rays, Electric Umbrella, Flame Tree BBQ and Tusker House? The picks at Sci Fi & Concourse look great, but haven't seen too much on CS places!

Corn dogs are a unique item at Cosmic Rays (along with chicken nuggets, salad with chicken, and chicken noodle soup). At Electric Umbrella it is turkey and cheese pinwheels (along with chicken nuggets, and macaroni and cheese). Flame Tree has chicken wings and hot dogs. Tusker House offers chicken drumsticks and macaroni and cheese.

Thanks Bicker DGS loves corn dogs at home , mac & cheese is what flows thru his veins!!! I'm sure he'd eat a hot dog too so it looks good.

We have eaten at LeCellier the past 2 years and both of my kids LOVE that Moose. They will be so sad if they can't get it.

I must agree with previous posters about the desserts. How boring! They are all the same. If your child is 3 or 4 it is probably just fine but my DD is 8.5 and she definately wants something comparable to what her BIG brother (age 12) can get. She will be very unhappy and vocal if her choices aren't equally as yummy. Of course, we will all share with her but she will most definately notice if things aren't equal; not just dessert but all the menu items.

You do not pay the $2 surcharge on the DDP...it's included. As for the moose, it's no longer available on the kids menu. The desserts for kids are the same as in all other TS restaurants (the ice cream or something else, I forget). The moose was moved to the adult menu.
