Soarin!!

I think this is a great ride for families because it is something young and young-at-heart can enjoy together. I have been on the one at DCA many times as we used to live out there. BTW, I'm scared of heights and this was never a problem for me on this ride.

I agree, Soarin is absolutely amazing. It is definetely worth the wait if you don't get fastpasses. I sat in both row 3 and row 1 and I thought it was great both times.

I sat in the middle row, and probably would be a little more nervous in the the top row, but wouldn't mind getting in the first row.

I agree!!! It is absolutely amazing!! We just got back from WDW last night, and we went on Soarin' 5 or 6 times!! My new favorite attraction!!!

It's a great ride. We were there this past Sat around 4:00 and the wait time was.....210 mins. That's right 3 1/2 hours stand by!!!!

We got lucky, we got to sit in the middle of the first row, in the middle section. It was really cool. But I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for it.
We skipped it the first three times we went because it was either down or the line was over an hour and a half wait. We waited about 20 minutes with the fast pass.

Love soarin' good in any row, I didn't feel any differently about sitting in the third row! Sat in the first row, the first time I rode it, aand the third next time. Don't forget to leave your flip flops on the ground before it starts!

All 3 of us love this ride. We went on it 10/19 (2x's) It is amazing, when you ask my dd3 which is her favorite ride she tells you the one where she is a bird. We were in the second row and the first...both amazing.

Haven't been on it yet, but is the third row really that disappointing?

I'm worried that if we get the third row, all we'll see is feet! I wouldn't want to wait all of that time and have an obstructed view.

I wonder why they didn't make the first row the lowest, and the third row the highest. That way there would be no dangling feet.

I can't wait to try Soarin', now I'm just nervous that not every seat allows you to see the full scope of the efffects. :guilty:

We rode Soarin twice.
Both time were were in row 1.
It was so realistic to me that when I saw the trees I pulled my feet back so they wouldn't hit the top of the trees.
So amazing... and I'm a chicken who won't ride fast rides.

I rode it with my son (10). We were in row 2 and 3. I LOVED it! We were in the second row on the first time through, and didn't feel let down when we were in the third row. I honestly have to say, I didn't even pay attention to the people's feet above me. It was fantastic both times.
