So what are the odds of not getting connected rooms at Poly?

I booked 3 Poly rooms for our upcoming vacation with the idea we would have adults on either end and all the kids in the middle room. When I asked to be connnecting rooms- they said no guarantee.
I have some family staying offsite and we actually added them to the reservation for sake of them being able to hang out during the day, use magic bands, transportation, etc but having the space to spread out at night. SO, if we get rooms that are not connecting- it will through a wrench in the plans. So what are the odds of not getting the 3 rooms connected? We will be checking in VERY EARLY as we will have driven down the night before and will drop bags and hit the park. Anything else I can do to "extra" request connecting rooms?

There is nothing else you can do. I think most studios connect, so your changes are better than at some locations. However, someone has to check out of those rooms on the day you check in. I wouldn't make any other requests except connecting rooms.

However one room connects to another room. So at best two rooms will connect and the thrid room that doesn't. You might end up with 3 adjacent to each other but maybe not.

Just to be clear - they only connect in pairs. Three cannot all connect.

It's 100% guaranteed you won't get 3 rooms that all connect together because they don't have that setup. It's pretty likely you'll get 2 that connect together and will have to hope the 3rd is close to the other 2. But, since it's a request you do need to be prepared for none to connect but I do think the odds are very very good to get 2 connecting.

There are 360 studios. All but two of them connect but all are connecting pairs not triplets. Thus, your odds are very high of getting two connecting rooms but the third will be separate.

You should request connecting rooms and have it noted on all three room reservations that the guests are all traveling with each other and would like in additon to two connecting rooms that all three rooms be close to each other.
