and at that time, the old fast passes were still in place. Is there someplace here that explains the new Fast Pass system? I would like to have complete knowledge of it before we go at the end of APRIL. Thank you in advance!!

thank you! WOW! That is a TON of information. Okay, so am I correct in saying that with the new Fast Pass system, you can basically book 3 Fast Passes for each day ahead of time?? And on that day, as each one is used, you can get another one at a kiosk?? How do you get the fast passes since they don't appear to be in paper form anymore? So many questions!!

Oh, do I need to book Fast Passes for all of us? Or just one of us and it will apply to all in our family?

2. And on that day, as each one is used, you can get another one at a kiosk??

3. How do you get the fast passes since they don't appear to be in paper form anymore?

So many questions!!

1. Yes, subject to availability.

2. Not quite. You must use all 3 before you can schedule another.

3. Magic.

Thank you!!!! I feel so foolish and out of touch. So I need to use ALL 3 that day before getting another one? oh wow. Okay. So are the fast passes no longer on paper? How does that work??

i suggest you read the link first, then come back with questions. Most everything you've asked so far is in there.

I did read most of it, but it's a ton of info and very over whelming, so I just wanted clarification.

1. Yes.

2. After the first 3 are used or expire, you can get more, but only one at a time.

3. Use your ticket or MagicBand at the entrances to the FP queues to gain access.

Everyone 3yo and older going into the attraction needs a FP.

What is MDX?

My Disney Experience, the marketing name for the system that includes FP+.

1. Yes.

2. No paper.

3. For some, better than others. No short answer, my post discusses this in some detail as do many other sources on the web.

Thank you everyone for your help! I'm going to need to read that link at least a few times to really understand. I'm sad they changed the old system. This seems way too complicated. =(

It is, but no more so than being a mother to 6 kids under 14 and a military wife. You have my respect! :goodvibes

There are many here who would be happy to give you additional advice. Don't hesitate to ask if you need more info after next week.

If you are staying on site you need to book your FP soon! You can do it 60 days out--30 days if off site.

I went in April of 2013 and then did FP+ in May of 2014 and had good luck. I posted our similar time below so you can compare what you might get.
