They extended their schedule to March and I had our February break seats in the cart but by the time I dug out the credit card etc....the flight was sold out.

I should have set my alarm but then again...when I do something like that...they dont open up till in the afternoon..hahaha

did you try airtran? I booked our flight going down in march for our march break trip and got a good deal

Yes, try Airtran. I wanted Southwest MHT to MCO this morning but Airtran out of BOS saved us $460.

southwest for the same date I booked with airtran was 50 dollars more, so we saved 120 after factoring in the baggage fee, but its still a good savings!

Ive been checking Kayak all along and all other major carriers are very expensive also.....Southwest and Jetblue were my last hope of reasonable fares.....

I should restate that the flights arent sold out but went from 490 a person to 750 a person before I could complete the info....sigh

Not much wiggle room because it is our February school break AND we are going on a cruise so we need to travel a specific day there and back (what was I thinking?)

When comparing Southwest to Airtran, just remember to factor in Airtran's baggages fees. On Southwest, the first two bags fly for free. On Airtran the first bag is $20 and the second bag is $25 each way. Airtran may still be the better deal, but good to keep that in mind when making your decision.
