Question - since Eddie is not on our resort package, I'm going to have to get his park tickets separate. What's your recommendation? Waiting and letting the Polynesian staff handle for us? Or buy online through WDW? Or use an outside vendor (legitimate one) for his tickets? I've researched and the price difference of using outside vendor is $5-$15 less.

If I were not getting a package, I would definitely go with an outside vendor...

I am getting mine from Undercover Tourist using the Mousesavers discount. For us saving about $15 a ticket adds up to almost $100. I also like that I can wait until December to purchase them, helping my budget some. I can also add them onto the Keys to the Kingdom card once we officially check into BWV. We need the tickets a day before checking in...for F! and DHS.

I think undercover tourist the least expensive I found as well. I just want to make sure they are 'valid ticket vendors.' It'd be my luck to buy from someone who wasn't. So I'm glad to hear confirmation that one is legit.

These were the ones we got from undercover tourist... but this was in 2008. maybe things have changed.

I wonder... if I get this, Eddie will be on site but not on a package - but will have a KTTW card basically for resort entrance only - I will have to find out if they can put his tickets on there... anyone know?

Hey! Hope your training for the half marathon is going better than mine! We haven't run since that first week. I'm starting to doubt that Princess Half Marathon 2012 will be a go. Actually I'm pretty certain it wont' be happening at this point. Maybe Everest Challenge?

I have a cousin who is in Spain for the year and in 2013 we were talking about doing Coast to Coast Half Marathons in Disney, so maybe we would be there in 2 years?

I totally get that! I am still running, but I have no partner. However, I'm in a bible study class that has incorporated 5k challenge into the study and I'm seriously considering finding someone to go from there. We are all going to run a 5k here locally the first weekend in December. I've not cancelled anything with Disney yet for Feb but am considering 'moving the dates' to Fall 2012. Maybe the F&W 1/2 marathon or something... I will still be out the registration fee for the princess and I'm torn about that but I think my friend, and I say this with love, really is more excited about the trip to Disney than running the race... I mean... who wouldn't be right? But I need the focus... I haven't decided completely yet what to do. I do feel like I need the motivation in a partner to push me though.

Just thought I would check in and let you all know that I've not abandoned this PTR. I have some pictures to get posted of the "mickey/minnie" mail my kiddos received last week and am planning on sharing a days worth of plans since I'm all but at the 10 weeks away mark!

I will say that I'm trying to get caught up before I have to run boys off to football practices. Both are still doing very well and have qualified for play-offs even though we still have a couple of weeks of regular season play remaining. So it appears we will for sure be playing football through Oct. 29th. If we make it further than that, there's just one game left the first weekend in November and it's the "Super Bowl" game. Would be a lot of fun!

Maybe a little Christmas shopping at DTD is what you need! I know the feeling of feeling behind...I am all the suddent thinking where is the time going? I have a bunch of things to make and get prepared.

I think my shopping is done, except for Santa's gift cards and a few food items for the stockings/carry ons...and some new shirts for dh and me!

Where has the time gone...I can't even remember what last spring was like when we were in the 200-300 day range...or even when I sat last NYE thinking next year it will be WDW...I vowed.

Another small update... so they changed our departure flights home. I hopped online to see and they had essentially given us a 19 minute window to change planes in Houston... So I called and got that fixed in a hurry. The airline rep was very sweet and even managed to get us 'seated' in the front of the plane. But not much changed, we depart at 11:50a rather than 12p but plenty of time to get up and have a Christmas Eve breakfast before heading home. My biggest concern was getting home at a decent time to enjoy Christmas Eve with the family. But it all worked out well.

Tammie - I will be coming home and your trip will be on the verge of starting! Can't wait for all of us to share our journeys!!!
