The tough part is waiting!!!!! At the 75 day mark now. Come on vgt rates. LOL. I have to admit that I am a bit nervous that people from my cruise group are reporting Palo brunch is already full. I know I can go once on board and be put on a waiting list.......but I won't be guaranteed. If I can save a couple hundred bucks by getting a vgt rate I guess we could do Remy if it is still open. Isn't it normally slower to fill because of the price? I have to have something to obsess about....otherwise it wouldn't be normal vacation planning for me, haha.

I would bet you have no problem getting a Palo reservation once onboard. They hold back quite a few reservations for onboard booking so don't worry.

They are making them seem less when they have stayed the same the last several weeks. But of course if you compare it to summer rates it looks good. Still have my fingers crossed for vgt.

Personally I would think Remy would be slower to fill because of the menu. But then I'm NOT into seafood or veal, so...

As has been pointed out, I think they hold back Palo reservations for onboard booking as well.

We sailed VGT in September 2012 and had no problems getting multiple Remy and Palo reservations online. We did brunch and dinner at both restaurants. We are currently going on the Fantasy on Oct. 18 and paid the regular price which is a full $1000 more than our VGT in 2012, but we are traveling with friends in October and couldn't be as flexible. $1k is had to swallow though.

Hopefully not. The Sept cruises are reasonably priced. I'm not sure how much they could lower them. There are a lot of rooms left at every category so I think we should see some sort of discount.

We are going to to do the parks just me and the hubby.....NO KIDS!!! I hope the rest of ya'll get some decent rates! They sure are holding out on the September rates, haha.

I'm sorry you won't be cruising with us, but I am sure you will enjoy your stay at AKL. Those Savannah Views are awesome!

I have been checking cruise prices daily and so far all I have seen is a price increase from when we booked. I am still checking daily, but I will be pleasantly surprised to see a price drop at this point.

AKL is amazing even with a regular view, Savannah is just breathtaking! We love it there and really feel like we are in another world.
