Without looking at hours or busy/empty days here is my plan so far. Please give suggestions....

Starting Oct 16th: Arrive Radisson Barcelo on International Drive
Oct 17th: Seaworld All day, shopping, dinner
Oct 18th: Universal, lunch, citywalk dinner...
Oct 19th: Wet n Wild, lunch, shopping?..
Oct 20th: IOA, lunch, dinner, hoping to do HHN also.
Oct 21st: Epcot all day stay for illuminations (lunch & dinner)
Oct 22nd: AK first half/ lunch, MGM rest of day, dinner
Oct 23rd: MK, lunch, stay for wishes,

Since staying on IDrive, we have transport to the parks. With Disney, its fine getting there, but they will only pick you up at a cetain time, and dont stay till wishes or illuminations are over. Im a little concerned as were not sure how to get back to our hotel.

We are doing Busch Gardens while we have a second week in St Petes Beach. Any other suggestions for this week also.

Then we have a 3 night stop over in New York.

Regarding getting back to your hotel after Wishes/Illuminations, it might be a bit long-winded but you can get as Lynx Bus (number 50, I think) from the Ticket and Transportation Centre to SeaWorld and, from there, you can get the I-Rdie trolley back up to your hotel. Might be a fair old journey and take a bit of time but certainly cheaper than a taxi.

I would have a look over at askdaisy.net, under park updates and just check which days are the quieter ones for parks.

Americans make a big fuss over Halloween and I know you are not there on 31st but I got an email from attractionticketsdirect telling me about tickets for Universal/IoA's Halloween nights. Dates included September/October. It may be worth you looking into these nights to see if they affect your plans or if you want to take advantage of them.

They are supposed to have spooky fog everywhere with horror costumed CMs jumping out all over the place. Not my cup of tea.

:sunny: Hi

Just a few suggestions:

On your park hop day (22nd) I would make ADR's for your lunch or dinner if your want a sit down meal. On our AK day we had breakfast at boma at AKL so skipped dinner but Rainforrest cafe would be fun. The parks will be busy being a saturday. Are you planning on staying for Fantasmic? They may have 2 shows as its w/end.

On your MK day why not have dinner at one of the hotels on the monorail loop. We went to O'hannas for an early dinner at 6pm the back over to watch wishes. It was a nice break on a long day.

St Petes is a complete change of pace to Orlando. You have to do a boat trip to watch the dolfins, great fun. We took the trip that took you to shell island. If you have transport at St Petes drive to Johns pass. It's a boardwalk area on the esturay with some shops and resturants. You get great fresh fish and its nice to watch the pelicans diving for fish.

Not sure where you are staying at St Petes but if you are close by have dinner or a drink at the resturant at the top of the Holiday Inn. The hotel is right on the beach and looks like a airport tower. The resturant revolves slowly and has great views. Try and go at sunset. Can't remember what the food was like but worth a visit for the views.

Have a great trip :goodvibes

Hi Charley,

Thanks for replying. We are staying in Tradewinds Sanpiper on St Petes. We dont drive, but i read about a jolley trolley that goes up to John's Pass etc. Have you any pics of St Petes. I would love to do the dolphin cruise, and also the shell island trip. What are the costs. I would also love to do parasailing etc. Would love to see the Florida Aquarium, not sure where that is though. Any other tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi :sunny:

My parents were staying in Clearwater whilst we were in St Petes and took the trolley all the way down to meet us and said it was great. The trolley will go right by Johns pass so I'm sure you could get there that way.

We booked the boat trip at our welcome meeting in St Petes with virgin. When we later compared the prices booking direct they were the same, but it was a few years ago and I can't remember how much it was. I don't think it was too expensive.

The Tradewinds hotel is just near the Holiday inn so you could walk to the resturant there. Nice romantic meal for two to celebrate your engagement!!

There was a bar just near to your hotel right on the beach that you went upstairs to that had live music when we were there that was fun. I'll try and remember the name (it will probably drive me mad in the mean time  )

Can't remember any parasailing at St Petes but there was much more going on at Clearwater. It might be nice to take the trolley all the way up to do some water sports. They have jet boats at the harbour too.

Not sure how to post pics ;) - I'll look into that, sorry.

Hope it helps
