Snow's been falling for 8 hours...

...and we have an accumulation of 0! Soon as it hits the ground it melts. I've seen this happen before, but not for 8 straight hours. Waaaah...we want snow!

Not in this part of Italy, I am told that what we are seeing today is very unusual. They usually see snow in the higher elevations, but there are not too many places in Italy that fit the bill, mostly in the extreme north, in the pre-alps.
