Live and learn I guess... never come between a woman and her pooping dog!!

Can I come too?
We have just cracked up at watching her...to be so little, she is mighty quick!
I'm still nervous/worried, though people who have been through surgery have been discussing their's with me... and it takes away fear of the unknown. I guess I'm less worried about the known (weeks on crutches, being dependent on everyone else), than what the hospital stay is like, etc. Sadly, I'm really not sleeping well and I've started what I call my "disease and pestilence" diet - aka, not eating properly due to stress/illness and dropping weight like no one's business. I never lose 4lbs in 10 days. I can barely lose 4lbs in a month when I'm trying!
I'm sure everything will go well
he's adorable and your neighbor needs to be an adult and take responsibility.
). They were very well- behaved. I'm really getting nervous about him starting K now though. His teacher seems nice but she just doesn't give of the warm fuzzies like K teachers should. She's older and seems like a stickler for rules. I'm worried that the only experiences he's had are with me, his preschool and Sunday school and he's so used to teachers (and me) being animated and fun. I hope he clicks with her and I'm hoping my first impression is wrong.
Sarah - We're looking at RC for our cruise next year. Looking at June / July. Maybe we need a Snowbird meet for the cruise!!

Sarah- You sound super nervous about your surgeryI'm sure everything will go well
Try not to lose too much sleep over it- which is easier said than done I'm sure.

Well I survived visiting Andrew's school with all 6 kiddos (5 of which are quietly napping now). They were very well- behaved. I'm really getting nervous about him starting K now though. It wasn't so much her interaction with me it was the standoffishness (new word?) when she talked to Andrew and the other little girl that will be in his class. I walked out of there with the phrase "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" in my headGosh, I can't imagine an un-fun kindergarten teacher. Maybe she's the type who gets nervous when with adults?
Perhaps I'm just overprotective and worrying about my baby too much. I need to realize he's 5 and not so much my baby anymore. It wasn't so much her interaction with me it was the standoffishness (new word?) when she talked to Andrew and the other little girl that will be in his class. Really, you don't want to make yourself sick before you even get there!!! You need to just try to relax and tell yourself that this IS for the best and how happy you'll be when it's over and you are running around pain free!! And, know that many of us will be praying..just for you~!!
We usually get away with trick or treating in a sweatshirt or light jacket. Oh Sara- you almost made me cry! My mom still introduces me as her baby and I'll be 31 next month. Motherhood definitely changes you!You realize that I'm 32 years old and my mom is dropping EVERYTHING for 2 weeks to take care of me post surgery.
He'll never not be your baby!![]()
You truly COULD do a Swordfish chat... I can't believe all of the notes about... LOL.
I am working on the "swordfish fight" as does kind of ring a bell... perhaps "Shanghaied"?

Looks like it's gonna be a movie afternoon to check!

I also got 2 cards, but I know that at least 8 APs were purchased. So I sent Disney an e-mail per the instructions on the passholder site.
We'll see what they say!
And I have no words of wisdom to contribute regarding swordfish!
Becca, I seem to remember the swordfish fighting scene also, but no idea where that's from. I don't think I've ever seen "Bedknobs and Broomsticks".![]()
Just asked my kids..they do not remember a swordfish scene in B&B. I didn't either... we used to watch it alllll the time ....I wasn't sure, thought maybe I just forgot about that part. But, they say no...not in that movie!!!!

Shawna-That's so awful that you have a neighbor who's not so nice. Where I live, you can get fined if you don't scoop your dog's business. So, whenever you see someone walking their dog, they always have a plastic bag in their other hand! When we lived in our apt, they turned our building into a dog friendly building (we were the only ones there that didn't have a dog by the time we moved out). In their contract it stated that they had to clean up after their dogs and they had to walk them in designated areas. Well that never happened, especially in the winter. We were always greeted with yellow snow whenever we'd leave or enter the building and there was always doggie doo EVERYWHERE! We would constantly contact the building managers and they would send out flyers reminding everyone of the contract that they signed. Who knows what it's like there now, but I'm glad we're not there anymore!![]()

Oh well...How old do you have to be for that tour? My youngest is 6 and I really think they would enjoy it.
