So sorry to hear about your rough year Becca. We're always here for you!

Just popping on to say I'm still here! I did just start my TR and it's going to be a slow go. I have 1 week to get my photopass pics edited and I need to find the time to do so. AH! I have been busy every single Saturday this month and it continues into November. I'm sure it will be like that through December too. It's the "busy" time of year!

Thanks for all the kind comments ladies. It has been a really rough year, and I'm hoping the rest will be lovely. Christmas with my family should be interesting, but I'm excited that I get to spend time with most of my siblings. I'm planning on decorating my Dad's house for him. I'll be able to do some stuff at my own, but most of our belongings probably won't arrive until right before Christmas.

Oh gosh Becca! I am sorry! This has been a rough year for you!!! My parents got divorced when I was 26 or 27...kinda weird...had expected it for years, but it's still uncomfortable and strange no matter how old you are...Hopefully next year will be fantastic for you!!!!

Sheree...the last two years we have been this same week and both times it was upper 70s and a couple of days in the 80s...nights are cooler, but it's definitely shorts and tee shirt weather...

Yeah. It's been coming for about 10 years. It's almost a relief that it's finally over with. I almost wonder if all the waiting was the hard part? It seems to have solved their problems.

I like that you put the vacation first so you wouldn't be trapped at home by the storm! Enjoy your time at WDW - if your house isn't okay, you can deal with it later, right? That's what insurance is for.

No seriously, I hope nothing happens to your house and you have a great vacation! I've heard it's crowded - I thought it was when we were there too. Gosh, I have been home a week already! Boo hoo.

We are all prepped for Hurricane Sandy! Hope everyone in her path stays safe!!! I have always told DH I want to move to Florida and he says no because they get too many hurricanes. I told him today we may as well since the we're getting just as many hurricanes here in Maryland!

Mindy- so sorry you're going through this alone! It is getting really windy and the hurricane part hasn't even hit land yet! I moved mattresses downstairs so we can sleep without worrying about 100+ft trees crashing on my head while we sleep. We just finished making rice crispy treats and are going to carve pumpkins next. Trying to make the best of it with the kids but they are already driving me crazy! Jason had to go into work but is thankfully home now.

I guess we are lucky in that we don't have any large trees close to the house. The neighbors have already lost their screens and the other neighbor's basketball hoop tipped over.

Happy Halloween everyone!

To all those dealing with the aftermath of Sandy, I'm saying an extra prayer for you. Hope you are all safe.

We made it home from Disney over the weekend. We felt some of Sandy's effects on Thursday night and Friday with lots of wind. Had some rain Thursday night, but it started as we were walking into dinner and stopped by the time we were done. We were very lucky with our weather. We had a fantastic time - maybe one of our best trips yet! Got to see the new FLE - I think it is awesome, but then LM is my absolute favorite! After our first Friday there with the unexpected crowds from the FL schools being off, we didn't encounter many crowds at all. We mostly went to the recommended parks (we strayed a little), and used FP when necessary.

Hope everyone is doing well. It seems like forever since I've been on the boards. Have lots of catching up to do!
