Hi!

We'll be travelling w/ family members who smoke this trip. I understand that smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Does anyone know where these are at the 4 parks? Being nonsmokers, we've never taken notice! TIA!

You can find them on the park maps. Personally I think that the smoking areas are some of the nicest, quitest, most relaxing areas in the parks. Have a wonderful trip.

Sometimes they can be alittle difficult to find, even w/ the maps. They are always out of the way and we look for the garbage cans w/ the ashtrays on top. One of the nicer ones is in the MK. If you are coming up Main Street towards the castle. The last "shop" on the right is the ice cream place. Just past it there is a walkway to the left. There are yellow umbrella tables, that is one. Dh smokes, I don't. He usually "takes a break" there and then catches up w/ me in the shops. It's also right next to a restroom.

In MK, there is also one around the corner from Tony's Town Square restaurant,

In Frontierland, there is one near the McDonalds Fry Cart,

In Tomorrowland, there is one near the Tomorrowland stage

In Epcot, there is one in UK near the stage where the British Invasion group performs

In Animal Kingdom, there is one in Asia on a very nice trail kind of out of the way

In Harambe (Animal Kindgom) , it is to the left just as you cross the bridge kind of behind Dawahe Bar

In the studios, there is one just past the studios archway

There is also one near Star Tours in a nice little area

There is one just to the left of RnR coaster entrance.

That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm not a smoker, but go to WDW with several family members who smoke.

I think the phrase out of the way that has appeared higher up this thread is very, very true!
IMHO Disney clearly wants those smokers to be out of the way!!!!!(LOL):)

Had to laugh when i saw where the smoking area was at AK -- hidden away down a little trail where there was lots of trees, greenery, etc. Not the most ideal location for smoking!
