This holiday is something we all have in common. It doesn’t matter what country you live in, what religion you do or don’t practice, at what stage you are in your life, we all wave goodbye to 2024 tonight.

Instead of a poll, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy New Year. Some of you I’ve known many many years, some I’ve met in person, some it feels like I’ve met in person, some I’ve known for a short time and some I barely know or don’t know at all. Regardless of my relationship with you, I wish you PEACE and MANY BLESSINGS in 2025

I also want to take a moment to thank you all for participating in my fun and silly polls throughout the year. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I post these around 5:30am and then I’m not on The DIS much after that. I have Ths DIS on my phone, so throughout the day I do look at everyone’s replies. Sometimes I have time to reply, especially on some days that are less busy than others. I always appreciate everyone’s participation and it’s nice to see DISers bond and have fun with the topics

I also want to thank you all for keeping the polls a drama free zone - you have no idea how much I appreciate this. I want the polls to be a fun and safe place to post. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Good morning, Sandy, and thank you. As said above and on other polls of yours, many of us look for your morning polls with our morning coffee. Sort of a natural way to get the day going. I know I do, my two morning papers, my coffee and a new @slo poll. Always fun to see what you come up with. Glad you are on our morning team here.

It's often nice to read how things are with your best buddy, Katie, @piglet1805. To read about a nice evening out with Kevin. To read about just about anything at your home, in your life. It's just, well, nice.

Thank you so much for doing these silly, daily polls. It's the first thing I look at on the DIS, in the morning, while I'm waking up, having my cup of coffee!
