My DH had read a spoiler before the season started that a main character was going to die this season. Do you think it's Nate??? I'll just be heartbroken if it is. In a way, though, if it is him, I'm glad they're doing it now so we can see the aftermath of it, rather than killing him off in the last episode. DH and I were talking when he fell over. What was that he was saying? "Nerm, nerm?"

WOW is all I can say about tonights show. I noticed that they didn't show previews of next weeks show, which they always have done.

I forgot to watch it tonight but I will catch it at midnight

I think they didn't show any previews tonight because they didn't want to tip off whether next week's epi would include Nate. I agree. All I can say is "Wow". SFU writers have been setting us up for this, though. This season has included several instances of Nate coming close to death in his life (HS friend dies, etc.). Even tonight's epi had him ranting about meaning in life, and how Fisher and Diaz could be doing something more significant for clients.

I was in shock when it happened, but IMO... R.I.P. Nate Fisher

When his arm went numb, wasn't it his right arm? I always thought it was your left.

I missed the episode, buit didn't he almost die in Season 2? Maybe he was dead the whole time, or near death and everything that has gone on since then was an NDE?

I think his problem in season #2 was brain-related. Maybe that's why his right arm went numb? It was some kind of neurological thing instead of a classic stroke or MI :confused3 I guess I'd better go over to WebMd and see what I can find out.

He had some kind of brain disorder called AVM, which he kept leaving untreated and didn't take the doctors seriously about it until it was almost too late. When he wanted to have the surgery to fix it, the doctors warned him that it could kill him or leave him severely incapacitated.

The next season started off with a bunch of scenarios of what could have happened after the surgery -- he was dead in one with all the family grieving over him; alive, but brain damaged in another; married to Brenda and having a child in another; and then the final one he was married to Lisa, which turned out to be true. I thought that was one of the coolest episodes!

I also wonder how Maggie is going to explain him in her bedroom....

I know! I'm pretty eager to see how that plays out. They were on the sofa in the living room and he was fully dressed when he fell over, so she could potentially lie and say nothing happened. I was thinking maybe they'd speed time up a little bit before the last episode and she'd end up pregnant. Wouldn't that complicate things???

Can you believe there's only four episodes left? I'm so bummed there'll be no more 6FU :sad1:

and Maggie seemed like such a goody goody - I never thought she would have slept with him....he is a married man! I can't believe there were no previews. I waited up through the next show just to make sure!

I thought last night's episode was one of the best so far this season. I haven't been that pleased with it up to now.

I wonder what really is going on with Nate, stroke, heart attack? He was just laying there with his eyes open and looked unable to move.

I kept waiting for previews for next week's episode too!

Can't wait for next Sunday!

Brenda is SOOO going to know. She already is suspicious of their relationship and she was in the Quaker church when they didn't show! I feel bad for her this season...I think Nate has been an A**, and she seems like she's trying to pull her life together.

I agree. I loved Nate last season. This season, not so much.

I know!!!!!

I was so upset when that whole scene was going on. Can any character in that show be faithful to the one they love? No! I couldn't even feel sorry for him when he fell flat on the floor.

I hear ya! He's been so self absorbed this season. It is driving me nuts, he changed from being self absorbed the first season to a much nicer guy last season and back again this season. I get all of the character development...but it does make it hard to sympathize with him. Honestly, I am feeling bad for Rico even though he was a dog to his wife and kids. That story line seems so realistic!
I also wish they would stop making David's purpose be for comedic value...they've got Keith struggling with the kids, but David just seems to have relegated to the goofball sensitive "housewife". They need to give him more to do!!

I agree regarding David's character. Last season he had a bigger more important role (IMHO) with getting carjacked and dealing with the aftermath. He's an excellent actor!

In fact, all of them are, it's just this season seems so empty to me after the last one.

I wonder if they're not going to have a new episode next week? Sometimes they don't show previews when that is the case.

What's up with Russell, huh? What a freak!
